The property is set in a quiet location, high in the hills northwest of Lucca, with spectacular views. The owners have kept two farmhouses on the same estate for their own use and for the use of the multilingual house manager, about 80 m from the villa but in no way do they encroach on your privacy. The property has its own olive grove, producing fine organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil under its own label.
Upon arrival you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills perfect for a peaceful vacation in Tuscany. For your enjoyment you will find a private pool where you can relax while enjoying a nice cold beverage after a hectic day of shopping. If you enjoy cooking for family and friends there is a well-equipped kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to 13 people. Having a car is absolutely recommended.
We do not recommend this house for those arriving by train, and therefore on foot during their stay.
Keep in mind that on foot, you will have to walk 800 meters uphill to get to the apartment (15-minute uphill walk); the center of Levanto is 1.5 km from the house, the train station 2 km from the house (30 minutes on foot).
Please take this into consideration to avoid misunderstandings or complaints when you get here.
We are not able to provide taxi transfers; at night there are no taxis available in town.
Walking is not recommended if you are not used to! In summer during the day it could be too hot; at night the last part of the road is not lighted enough.
