For long sandy beaches, a vacation rental in Sicily or a holiday rental in Sardinia is a much better idea.

Instead, the Amalfi Coast is better for those who only do an exclusive beach club booked in advance or those who prefer to go for a dip rather than lounge about on the beach all day. So, if you love to be by the sea but don’t need to spend your whole vacation on an actual beach, this will suit you just fine.
