The house is part of a farm with olive groves which produces superb extra virgin olive oil.
The owners live in part of the house on the property, but they do not use the pool, terrace or garden.

Conveniently located 3 km (2 mi) from Volpaia, Italy in the tourist area "Chianti" and only 21 km (13 mi) from Greve In Chianti. Holiday rental Casavecchia is a lovely stone building (284 sq m) that includes WiFi internet and private pool. The property can sleep up to 12 guests comfortably in six bedrooms with six bathrooms.
What to Expect
This beautiful farmhouse is located in a very quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate, where we have successfully been renting two other properties, La Pozza and Il Casetto for many years. Guests can enjoy incredible views from the covered terrace, which is furnished for outdoor eating and is also very practical for families as it overlooks the pool, allowing parents to relax while keeping an eye on the pool area. The fortified hamlet of Volpaia offers two nice restaurants, one of which owned by the estate. The English speaking estate staff can organize cooking lessons, visits to the wine cellars and will be glad to assist guests during their stay.
