Sometimes, we have properties that are so highly in demand that, even a year out, only a few weeks are available for the following summer. Podere Vignali is an example of this, with no dates available for the next few months, some weeks available in May 2025, one in June 2025, none in July 2025, and only a couple for August 2025. With five-star reviews, a gorgeous location, charming Tuscan interiors, beautiful grounds, sleeping up to a possible total of 12 guests in four bedrooms with four bathrooms, and available from just €232 per night, this all starts to make sense. Podere Vignali is a perfect place to get away with a group of the ones you love, in an amazing setting for a vacation in Tuscany, at an excellent price point so, if you’ve all been thinking about getting away together, then don’t wait around, book your stay in Podere Vignali for 2025 before there are no dates left at all!

A historic property that was built all the way back in the 12th century, Podere Vignali is a perfect picturesque stone building that is located 2km from the centre of the charming village of Pari, right in the heart of Tuscany. In a peaceful location with gorgeous views all around, lush greenery surrounding, and the village rising on a hill as a backdrop, it is a destination that looks like something plucked from the pages of a travel guide or a storybook. This dreamy location is a true escape from reality but it is worth keeping in mind that you will more than likely need a car to enjoy a stay here properly and you will have to navigate the 1.5km steep and narrow road that leads to the villa – such roads are not uncommon in Tuscany and it is all part of the charm but may be off-putting for some drivers.

The outdoor space at Podere Vignali is one of its biggest appeals with a large garden featuring a meadow that is ideal for relaxing, sitting out and soaking up the sun, and little ones who might want to run around. Within this garden you will find the private swimming pool (measuring 10m x 4m with a depth of between 1m and 1.5m). The pool itself is well-maintained by the owner/gardener as well as the grounds generally and there is a wonderful selection of garden furniture to allow you better enjoy your time in this gorgeous space. A stunning terrace area just off the living room is perfectly set up with stone walls around it, a dining table and benches, a big parasol, and a barbecue to make al fresco meals easy and comfortable but there are other little areas to sit out including sun loungers on the lawns by the pool, little bistro sets on the terraces outside bedrooms, and various other benches, chairs, and other furnishings dotted here and there.

In addition to the immediate area around the property, there are plenty of gorgeous spots to explore nearby such as the hiking paths of Riserva Naturale Farma, the natural hot springs of Petriolo 5.6km away, the Tuscan Coast, and famous villages and towns that are a must-see on holiday in Tuscany such as Siena and Montalcino. It is also worth noting that Podere Vignali is on a working farm and you can purchase local farm products directly from the owner and have the owner prepare authentic Tuscan meals for you upon request (at an extra fee). Animal lovers will also be happy to meet the owner’s adorable dog who lives on the grounds with the owner and hear that they can bring their own furry pal along (upon request) if they so wish.

Inside, the buildings of Podere Vignali continues to charm with lots of original features and a tasteful country house aesthetic paired with modern conveniences. Expect stunning exposed beam ceilings, a mixture of antique, vintage, and modern furnishings, a beautiful old fireplace in the picture-perfect farmhouse kitchen, pretty bedrooms with private terraces and en suite bathrooms, and more. Note the use of the word !"buildings" as Podere Vignali is composed of multiple stone buildings with one housing the living room and one of the en suite double bedrooms, the largest housing the kitchen/dining room, and three en suite double bedrooms, and a final double bedroom with the bed up in a charming loft space and a living area and en suite downstairs. Except this loft bedroom and another bedroom with a loft area, the rest of the property is all on one level. The external connection between some of the spaces and the external entry to the bedrooms is a distinct and charming feature that is ideal for those travelling in groups who want a perfect balance between privacy and communal spaces but will not suit all travellers so be sure to consider this and its implications before planning a stay.

A recent guest, Edith R from Austria, who stayed at the property this summer had this to say about the experience: “We really enjoyed our stay at Podere Vignali. The owner was VERY helpful in any way (hints for sight visits, restaurants and more) during our visit and was available via messenger network. The area is only reachable with a car, that's maybe the only minus. On the other hand it is very quiet and you can have a great time at that wonderful site. Everything was clean and nicely equipped [sic]. Although the climate in summer can be very hot, you can have relaxed nights because of the clever structure of the bedrooms. During the daytime you can use the perfect pool or take a sunbath on sun loungers. We loved the big kitchen and the big tables that come along in- and outside the kitchen area. Perfect for a bigger group!”
So, if that sounds right up your alley, then consider snapping up some of the remaining dates at the singular and charming Podere Vignali for a dream vacation in Italy next summer!
