The Experience
Villa Clara is a typical 18th Century Manor villa with its own small formal park and chapel, at the centre of an estate with farmhouses where the farmers looking after the winery used to live. The rental of the property, together with the one of Casa Rosa, located on the same estate, offers the possibility for larger groups, up to 32 guests, to vacation together. The helpful caretakers live on the estate in a separate apartment and are available to arrange cooking services for their guests.
When you arrive you will be greeted by the owner or manager where you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property ideal for a splendid vacation in Tuscany. For your enjoyment you will find a private pool where you can relax while enjoying a nice cold beverage after a busy day of sightseeing. If you enjoy cooking for family and friends there is a well-equipped kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to 20 people. The Villa rental is positioned in the countryside around Lucca, on a beautiful hillside dominating ancient vineyards and olive groves, in an area where once all the noble families built their summer estates to escape the heat and show off their wealth.
The villa is set in 6 acres and sleeps up to 12/14 people. It has been recently renovated in order to bring together modern comforts with the original architectural features and antique furnishings. It is fully furnished and surrounded by a private, Italian garden. Villa Pedone also offers a private swimming-pool, directly accessible from the house.
By renting this villa one can enjoy the beauties of all the treasures offered by the Tuscan Region. Lucca is in an ideal location, its geographical position and features offer both mountains and beach resorts in accessible distances.

Villa Pedone is situated on a quiet and secluded hillside, surrounded by breathtaking views of olive groves and vineyards. Although you will feel far away from the city, Lucca is only 10 minutes away by car. It is an ideal location, as you will see on the map, the city of Lucca is positioned centrally in the Tuscan region. It is aprox. only 15 km from the sea side and 10km from the mountains. It is surrounded by all the main cities of Tuscany, which are easily reachable also by train or bus.
The property is in San Concordio di Moriano, a small village in the countryside, 7km from Lucca city center.
The villa is surrounded by ancient olive groves and vineyards. It is also an historic area where once all the noble families built their summer estates to escape the heat and show off their wealth. Although it might seem like an isolated area, the village center is only 2km away, where it is possible to find a minimarket and a supermarket at 3km.

The garden surrounding the property is delimited by a 2m high wall, which surrounds three sides of the villa. The fourth side is delimited by a low fence to enable the view of the lower hills, of vineyards and olive groves, the swimming pool, with deck chairs, and the outdoor dining area are on this side, therefore you are able to have a beautiful view of the countryside while dining and swimming.
The Italian style garden is partly in grass and partly in pebble stones. The villa's façade is dominated by a palm tree.
