A charming vacation rental on the Tuscan Coast nestled into a hillside overlooking Forte dei Marmi
“We had a wonderful 10-day vacation at Villa Il Giardino in April with four adults and a dog. Thanks to the breathtaking panoramic views and the beautiful sunsets followed by starry skies, we really enjoyed our evenings at the villa.
The beds are wonderfully comfortable; we slept very well. Every room has a high-quality mosquito net, though we didn’t really need it in April.
There are plenty of storage options throughout the house, including cabinets and shelves.
The parking space was sufficient for our Seat Tarraco, but a second car wouldn’t have fit. Access to the villa is easy.
The villa is a great starting point for hiking trips into the mountainous hinterland, various cities (e.g., Lucca and Pisa), of course to the beach, and also for rock climbing.
The villa itself is in a completely quiet location on a dead-end street. The garden is fully fenced and beautifully landscaped with numerous citrus trees and Mediterranean plants.
All in all, highly recommended—we’d love to come back!”

“The experience was EXCELLENT: both the house and its rooms, as well as the service and hospitality provided by Luis and the maintenance team.
The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with all sorts of high-quality, tasteful details. The common areas are large and comfortable for the family. The kitchen is perfectly equipped for any meal. The garden is wonderful.
It was undoubtedly an unforgettable experience.
The location is wonderful for its views and proximity to a city like Lucca with all its amenities, even though you have to drive up a winding road that can sometimes be a bit of a hassle—but that’s the price you pay for a house with dreamy views!”
