In the cool pergola, in front of the kitchen, equipped with wooden furniture and barbecue, you can relax and dine al fresco. The villa is located at the foot of the first wooded hills, which mark the border between Valdichiana and Valdarno, from here you can make even daily excursions, towards the two valleys, dotted with small villages nestled in the Tuscan countryside. In Monte San Savino, which is just a few kilometres away, it will be pleasant to spend evenings out, dining in typical restaurants or enjoying an aperitif sitting at tables in the colourful cobbled streets.
From the windows of the villa you can admire the imposing Castello di Civitella with its characteristic 'Torre Spaccata'. We absolutely recommend a visit to this small village, a real jewel of the Valdichiana, with its ancient cistern, panoramic square and medieval buildings.
La Quiete, in our opinion, is perfectly suited for your holidays with children, or in the company of large groups of friends. Around the house you will find a large green area equipped with outdoor furniture, barbecue, table tennis, table football, children's games, volleyball court and five-a-side football pitch. The owners, Leone and Giuseppe, have intentionally maintained its rustic, almost medieval appearance in order to preserve its noble origins. The wooden and brick ceilings, the original terracotta floors and the simple and essential furnishings are a rare example of the rural tradition in Tuscany. The farmhouse is particularly suitable for couples or families who love nature and simplicity and want to get away from modern life for a while.
