Continuing on from our last post, introducing and listing some of our best apartments in Italy, particularly two of our best located apartments – one in the historic centre of Rome and another in the Old Port of Genoa, by the sea and close to the city centre. In this article, we have chosen some of our prettiest and best decorated apartments in Italy with ideal interiors that are picture perfect and, perhaps, distant from most of our day-to-day realities. Come enjoy living vicariously through these beautiful rentals while still being at the heart of the action and having plenty of facilities and amenities nearby.
3. Casa Delle Magnolie
Casa Delle Magnolie is located in the centre of Cortona and can accommodate up to four people comfortably. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and facilities nearby and the building is well-maintained and equipped.

However, the single best feature of the property is probably its pretty pastel interior. Incredibly sweet, the apartment consists of an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, all in cream and beige tones with mismatching table-chairs in pastel pink, blue and green gathered around a round dining table as a focal point to the room. This room opens onto a bright double bedroom in similar tones that makes for a cosy place to retire to at the end of a long day having fun and playing tourist. The whole apartment is light, airy and sweet and is available from just €60 per night.
4. La Zia
Another beautiful property – though in a rather different way – is La Zia. Located in Noto, Sicily, it is an elegant apartment with a pretty terrace situated just a few steps from the sights and attractions of this charming town, known as "the capital of Sicilian baroque".

There are countless restaurants, cafés and shops nearby, as well as beautiful churches and lovely old buildings, such as corso Vittorio Emanuele's baroque gems, the Cathedral, Palazzo Ducezio and Palazzo Nicolaci. Beaches and the other baroques cities of Syracuse, Modica, Scicli and Ragusa-Ibla are short car or public transport journeys away. The apartment itself has been recently restored and furnished with taste and great attention to detail. Situated on the fist floor of an historic building, it is also executed in a neutral palette but is a little more mature and sophisticated than Casa Delle Magnolie, with rich woods, four-poster beds, quirky statement pieces of furniture, high ceilings and big windows. With air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, washing machine, a safe and heating, it has all the amenities you could need. Sleeping two in one double bedroom, it is available from €123 per night.
