Even More Of Our Best Apartments In Italy

Molo Di Pozzillo
When discussing apartments in Italy, it is hard not to get caught up in pretty décor – there are some seriously incredible properties out there. Luckily, however, you don't have to worry about forgetting all the other factors that make for a good rental in your excitement, as all of our apartments in Italy have wonderful facilities and locations as well. Here are some more of our picks for beauties that have a lot more going on beyond a pretty face.

5. Molo Di Pozzillo

Molo di Pozzillo is another Sicilian gem; a delightful apartment overlooking the tiny dock of Pozzillo, a quiet coastal village close to Acireale. Recently restored, the house has a small terrace offering a pleasant sea glimpse and also happens to be just a short distance from the lava rocks that allow access to the sea for a refreshing swim. Its cosy interior is split across two floors and is furnished with taste and functionality. Mostly executed in cool grey tones and whites that make it look like the perfect hide-out from the summer sun when it is at its hottest during the day, there are pops of colour throughout and a marine-inspired theme upstairs.
Diamante
The overall atmosphere is both cosy and funky. On the ground floor the living area includes a living/dining room with sofa bed and kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. On the first floor are a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Sleeping up to five, it is available from €123 per night.

6. Diamante

One of our most unique apartments, however, has to be Diamante. Looking like a the inside of a cottage torn from the pages of a fairytale, it is one of five apartments in a beautiful, historic mansion in the center of the medieval hamlet of Brienza, in Basilicata. These apartments are the result of the careful restoration of a 19th century building and most of the original features have been retained during the restoration: tiles, indoor walls with exposed stones, terracotta and wooden floors. There are several attractive terraces facing towards the stunning surrounding countryside and over the tiny rivers “Pergola” and “Fiumicello" crossing the valley but the interiors are most intriguing.
Piazza Del Campo
Diamante has plenty of exposed stone walls yet is daintily decorated and has an open planning living, dining and kitchen area downstairs and a double bedroom upstairs. Sleeping up to four, it is available from €71 per night.

7. Piazza Del Campo

This beautiful and charming apartment is located in the historic "Piazza del Campo" in Siena, where every year the famous Palio takes place. On the third floor of an ancient, historic building with windows looking directly out on to the piazza, you couldn't find a better or more centrally located property in Siena. The interiors are beautifully and elegantly furnished, decorated with high, frescoed ceilings and the apartment consists of the living-room (with views over the Piazza), dining-room, kitchen, a double bedroom with ensuite and a suite with small living area, bathroom and an open gallery with 2 single beds. This incredible apartment is available from €857 per night and is the perfect place to stay for those exploring Siena.
