Scenery around Poggio Falcone

“We were a large group of 16 (mostly family). This villa was perfect for us. Long hot days by the pool (which is a perfect size). Everyone had plenty of space in the many cool breezy rooms. Even though we were there in the middle of summer, it was easy to sleep without the A/C, but we had the option.

The kitchen was amazing, modern and had everything we needed.

Easy day trips to Rome, Assisi and Montepulciano. And lots of other beautiful villages.

We ate the most amazing meal at the restaurant that is onsite. Easily the most delicious meal we had while in Umbria/Tuscany.

Our hosts were so lovely and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time.

I’d happily stay here again, and will be recommending this villa to everyone I know.”

Poggio Falcone, living room

“We were 4 families with our adult children and their friends and had two memorable weeks in Poggio Falcone.

The house is extremely spacious, the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the garden, pool and views are stunning.

The owners looked after us very well and supplied us with everything we needed: wood for the grill in the kitchen and outside and also for the pizza oven (including the slider for the pizzas).

Very good was also the multi-course menu, she has prepared us together with your team one evening.

We would like to come again.”

Poggio Falcone, restaurant

“Villa Falcone met all of our high expectations. The villa is situated on a hill with stunning views of the countryside and Lago Chiuso. The property is so large and has so many seating areas that even larger groups can find a quiet spot. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. The en-suite bathrooms also offer plenty of privacy. The table in the dining/living room is a real showstopper and offers enough space to enjoy even large meals. The kitchen is equipped not only with a 5-burner gas stove but also with a stone oven (fantastic for pizza) and a charcoal grill, and has all the appliances you could need. The two large freezers were also very useful for our group.

The housekeepers were very attentive and friendly. Their recommendations were also very helpful, especially the one for the wine tasting.

In summary, a very beautiful villa with an excellent value for money.

Two more tips: wine tasting at Poggio Bertaio and lunch at Tuscany Divine.”

Dinner in the restaurant at Poggio Falcone

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the villa suited our needs perfectly. In particular the owners made us feel at home and the home cooking and hospitality in their restaurant was so good we ate there half the time! The only downside to our stay was some guests were bitten by mosquitoes."
