The property is accessed via 3 kilometers of gravel road, which is in good condition but sometimes steep with small stones typical of country roads, making them unsuitable for low-altitude cars or sports cars. It is strongly suggested that guests have their own rental vehicle to move inside and outside Tenuta Umbra, though sport cars and low-height cars are not suitable for the estate's white gravel roads. You are welcome to explore the estate on foot or by bike, and should you wish to move around by car, you may request a transfer within the estate through your concierge. Only transfers arranged through the Tenuta Umbra Concierge Team are permitted to access the estate. A Concierge Service is available from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm and remains available for emergencies outside these hours. Extra services and activities must be booked in advance as availability cannot be guaranteed for last-minute bookings. All services provided to guests during their stay can only be arranged by or through the restaurant or Tenuta Umbra. The property spans 14 hectares (approximately 35 acres) of private land, featuring centuries-old olive groves and an organic vegetable garden, ensuring expansive outdoor spaces, privacy, and tranquility. The villa offers a total of nine bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. Three bedrooms are located on the upper floor of the main house, each boasting panoramic views, while the remaining six rooms are housed in separate annexes, each with its own private terrace.
The entrance to the villa is particularly striking and leads through the estate’s former church, adorned with original frescoes and now transformed into an elegant living room and library. The interiors also include a game room, a spacious dining room with its original fireplace, a fully equipped professional kitchen (that can be used by the internal staff only, if requested), and two guest bathrooms.
