Description
Surrounded by the tranquillity of the woods, in the middle of a large meadow, a larch-scented hut awaits you: we call it ‘La Piciola’. Rebuilt entirely in wood from the foundations of an ancient mountain garrison, in full respect of the uniqueness of the fantastic natural scenery that hosts it, La Piciola is designed primarily for couples, although it also has a third bed.
Our aim is to make you experience a true Dolomite holiday, but with a few extra comforts: for this reason, in the kitchen, in addition to the wood-burning oven, you will also find a convenient electric oven; and just to spoil you a little, there is an infrared sauna at your disposal, perfect for relaxing after a hike in the Brenta Dolomites. You will decide how to spend your evenings at La Piciola: gazing at the starry sky, perhaps in the company of the flames of the barbecue or listening to the flow of the Algone stream, or reading a book on the comfortable sofa, accompanied by the silence of the evening that only the mountains can offer. Description
Large mountain chalet half an hour from Trento for a relaxing holiday surrounded by woods.
The bright ground floor dominated by wood and granite welcomes you with the immediate empathy of mountain homes: the spacious, fully equipped kitchen area is perfect for preparing delicious dishes together to be enjoyed on the large table; in the relaxation corner lit by the French window there is room for everyone, to spend convivial moments in the quiet evenings in the mountains.
On the first floor, the three airy double rooms with their majestic exposed larch roof are ready to comfortably accommodate up to six people in style. Inside and out, the ideal place for an unforgettable experience in the Trentino Brenta Dolomites.
What will be your heart's place here, outside the hut? By the bio-lake a few metres from Baita Granda, or in front of the barbecue, if only to be lulled by the crackling fire? Or perhaps you will take a seat under the wild apple tree, which has been a silent spectator of the reconstruction work on this mountain garrison? He might tell you, for example, that the granite lining the hut was salvaged from the old ‘maso’ that, until a few years ago, dominated the large meadow. Baita Granda
