Property Description
Large and bright villa situated a short distance away from Torrita di Siena, a small village in the Val D’Orcia region, near the beautiful town of Montepulciano, renowned for the production of the “DOCG Nobile di Montepulciano” wine. This villas offers large outdoor areas and it is in ideal location to discover Tuscany’s, Umbria’ and Lazio’s most important places of interest.
Outside guests can enjoy use of a large, 2-hectare park with private swimming-pool. The house has welcoming interiors, furnished in a rustic Tuscan style and it is spread over 3 floors connected by an elevator.
The property owners run an important farming estate producing wines, olive oil and spirits.
Distances: Torrita di Siena with shops of all kinds approx. 1,5 km away, Montepulciano 11 km, Pienza 16 km, Rapolano Terme (spas) 25 km away, Cortona 35 km, Arezzo 45 km, Siena 50 km away, Orvieto 75 km away, Florence 105 km, Rome 190 km away.
At guests’ disposal: large garden with irregular-shaped swimming-pool (circa 60 square meters – min. depth 1,2 m – max. depth 1,8 m – open from 01/05 through 30/09), large terracotta-tiled solarium, barbecue and bread oven. Within the property there are various fruit trees which are at guests' disposal.
The villa provides an elevator and a laundry (with 2 washing-machines) in the villa basement. WI-FI internet is provided (free of charge).

Dieses Haus ist sehr schön, schöner Garten, sehr gepflegt. Ruhige Lage, trotz Straßennähe. Gute Lage für Ausflüge und sehr großzügig gestaltet. Eine schöne Villa mit Charme. Sehr gute Ausstattung! Alles da was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Etwas störend empfanden wir, dass tgl. der Garten gepflegt wurde, so dass wir nie alleine waren. Der Pool wird tgl. gereinigt, immer am Vormittag. Negativ war: die Preisregelung des Stromverbrauches. Man muss 1000 € Kaution hinterlegen, was uns sehr verwundert hat. 1000 € für 14 Tage Urlaub. Im Nachhinein haben wir es verstanden. Leider wurde uns vor Anreise der Preis nicht genannt und es wurde uns auch nicht gesagt, dass der Pool ununterbrochen am Stromkreis hängt. Aus bisherigen Urlauben kannten wir es dass die Poolpumpe nur tagsüber in Betrieb ist. Am Ende der zwei Wochen waren die 1000 € dann weg. Fanden wir sehr unangemessen und etwas unverschämt, aber nun denn, nicht mehr zu ändern.

Trés belle villa de grand standing.Il faut faire attention à l'électricité, 1€ le KWH, on nous a demandé 260€ pour la semaine!!! les propriétaires possèdent une Azienda Agricola à 6 kms à visiter.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Very nice luxury villa. Be careful with electricity, € 1 per KWh. We were asked to pay € 260 for the week !!! owners have an "Azienda Agricola" at 6 km away to visit.
[Counter comment from the house manager] As soon as the guests arrived the owner showed the 2 electricity meters and specified in written that consumption in the surplus would be charged at 1 euro per KW.
Villa Lauretana is a very big house not only inside but also outside, so it needs 2 electricity meters (220 and 380) and therefore it has a higher energy cost compared to other homes that are able to be fed with only 6,6 KW - only the elevator when running absorbs already 6.8 kW !
The owner states that some other properties equal to his apply more or less the same rates for the electricty and some even up to Euro 75 per day.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
