However, both stations are a 40-minute walk from the house so, if not taking a car, this needs to be borne in mind. Buses are all but non-existent. The on-site owners are friendly and obliging but speak no English so are unable to offer much in the way of local knowledge. There are shops, cafes and a good supermarket just a few minutes walk away. Be aware, also, that the apartments form part of the owners' home and the courtyard/terrace is communal and thus affords no privacy. All things considered, a nice place to stay away from the more overtly 'touristy' areas providing easy access to the sites while also providing a view of ordinary, everyday life in Campania.
