San Miniato is famous for its prized white truffle and was a historic destination of Napoleon Buonaparte during his Italian campaign. For sports lovers, several alternatives are available in the area including a 27-hole golf course in the nearby town of Castelfalfi at 19 kilometers, a riding school in Certaldo at 16 kilometers, and a tennis club in San Miniato at 20 kilometers.

The roof of the main house can be opened to ventilate and cool down the entire building (thanks to a system of hydraulic pistons). The house's special large windows can be opened to unite the indoor and outdoor areas. The furnishing is modern and refined.
The villa is surrounded by 10 hectares of land with olive groves and woods.
Access to the property is via a partly unpaved road, with a narrow section about 100 meters long (maximum width 2 meters).
Distances: Lucca with shops of all kinds 5 km away, Pisa 20 km, the Versilia area of the Tuscan coast (Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio, Marina di Pietrasanta) is about 20 km away, Florence 80 km, the renowned Cinque Terre area is about 100 km away.
