Property Description

Beautiful property located in the Lake of Burano WWF nature reserve, along the Tuscan coast in the Capalbio area, a renowned seaside destination. The villa is just 500 meters from the sea and offers a large, equipped outdoor space. The house's main feature is its own private seaside access (reachable only on foot): this beach for the villa's guests is many kilometers from the closest beach club facility, making it difficult for others to reach it. Between the house and the sea are farm fields and sandy dunes (that are part of the property and end a few meters from the sea). Between the dunes and the beach there is a gazebo and a small wooden structure that guests can use to store towels, children's games, etc. For guests who do not wish to use the private free beach there is an equipped beach facility a few kilometers away. A local train passes by in the immediate vicinity of the house.
The villa's interior is spacious, well furnished and very comfortable.
Within a radius of a few tens of kilometers there are interesting towns to visit such as Capalbio, Tuscania and the Monte Argentario (Porto Ercole, Porto Stefano with ferries for Giglio and Giannutri islands).
Distances: Capalbio with shops of all kinds 8 km away, Monte Argentario about 20 km, Grosseto 50 km away, Siena 125 km, Rome 135 km away.

For those who are thinking about planning a stay in one of our villas in Tuscany come autumn for an off-season getaway and who love nature and natural beauty, there is one particular area that many international tourists have yet to hear of but that should top your list of attractions. This is the Orbetello Lagoon.

One of the best preserved and most unspoiled natural areas in all of Italy, it consists of 1500 hectares of marshland along the Tuscan coast that is separated from the sea on the west and east by two 6km strips of land and by the Argentario headland. Isola del Giglio, or Giglio Island, is a bit of a hidden secret among Italians that is considered a pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
