Renovated small apartment in an old mill. Situated on the slopes of Mount Pratomagno at only 1 km (walking distance) from the village Piandiscò, on a hill halfway between Florence and Arezzo and close to the Chianti area.
At 20 KM Outlet The Mall (Gucci, D&G, Fendi, Armani, Ferragamo, Sergio Rosssi, La Perla, Cavalli, and many other).

Sammezzano Castle - The Most Beautiful Castle In Tuscany?

Some buildings are so incredibly beautiful and fantastical that they don't seem to be real and Sammezzano Castle definitely fits into that category. The castle, known for its outlandish moorish inspired architecture, is a bit of a hidden gem located in Tuscany in Reggello, just a twenty minute journey from Florence. The reason it is a lesser-known architectural treasure is that it is not normally open to the public and its future is rather uncertain. We hadden een heerlijke tijd, de studio was heel goed verzorgd, de eigenaars stonden altijd klaar wanneer we vragen hadden.
Het enige wat we misten, was een terras, want nu moesten we altijd via de voordeur en straat naar de tuin lopen.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had a lovely time, the studio was very well taken care of, the owners were always available when we had questions.
The only thing we missed was a terrace, because now we always had to go walk to the garden through the front door and over the street.

We very much enjoyed our holiday at La Ripa. It is a nice recently renovated apartment, especially a large bathroom with separate shower and bath. The owners are very nice and helpful e.g. gave advise about places to visit and they let us taste some typical Tuscan products. They grow a lot of vegetables in their garden.
Florence is nearby and easy to visit by train.

We would like to stay in La Ripa again on our next holiday in Tuscany.
