Casa Aia

We always aim to have a great selection of excellent villas in Italy of all kinds to choose from and, in particular, some villas in Tuscany that are impossibly charming and steeped in local tradition. These beyond picturesque vacation rentals in Tuscany boast the lush green surroundings of the famously lovely Tuscan Countryside, usually a private pool, often pretty stone exteriors, shuttered windows and doors, charming areas to eat al fresco, interiors with high, exposed-beam ceilings, old fireplaces, a sprinkling of gorgeous antiques and interesting works of art, and playful details and pops of colour.

One of our newest listings, Casa Aia, has all of this and more! Sleeping up to four in two bedrooms, with two bathrooms, and available from just €324 per night, this gem is quite possibly the quintessential example of everything we love about a holiday rental in Tuscany...

Views around Casa Aia

Located in the pretty Borgo Savignola in Greve In Chianti of the famous Chianti wine region of Tuscany, this villa dates back to the 18th century and perfectly blends historic and traditional charm with mod-cons and an extremely high finish that ensures your comfort throughout your stay. Positioned on a hill, overlooking the stunning surrounding landscape of typical winding roads lined in cypresses, rolling green hills, lush valleys, and the vineyards of the Savignola Paolina winery directly in front of the property, Casa Aia also affords guests some of the most magical postcard-perfect Tuscan scenery that you could imagine. In fact, all throughout the house, the most beautiful views are framed through windows, looking like paintings instead of real scenery. To stay at Casa Aia is to live within and alongside views that seem too picturesque to be real for a while...

Casa Aia, al fresco

While the views make the garden extra-special, the manicured grounds and amenities ensure that it is a space where guests will spend a good chunk of their vacation! To the side of the house, there is a pretty paved area with a table set up in the shade for al fresco dining made more picturesque by the stone façade of the villa, with plants growing up the side and the trees and plants all around the space. A barbecue is also available for the use of guests. Close by, on a little lawn, there is the swimming pool, surrounded by hedges and flowers, framed by sun loungers and parasols, with an outdoor shower, and looking out over the landscape. Other areas to sit in the shade of the trees, take in the views, listen to the birds and the wind, and unwind with a good book or a glass of wine are sprinkled throughout the space. Additional communal garden space, shared with four other units in the hamlet can also be enjoyed and a pickleball court set within the Tuscan countryside is set to open in 2026 for the use of guests.

Casa Aia, pool

Part of a complex, Casa Aia also offers an array of different nearby amenities and services that can be arranged by the owners. There is a reception area and a restaurant and you can arrange a half-board dining option, if you so wish. Services such as massage treatments, cooking classes and private chef services within the comfort of the villa, wine tastings, themed evenings, and more can all be organised for you, upon request and at an additional fee.

Casa Aia, exterior

If you’re looking to get out and really make the most of your time in Tuscany, Casa Aia is also well set-up and located for that. As noted, it is within the famous wine area of Chianti, ensuring that wine-lovers will be able to enjoy tastings and head off and visit a different winery each day, should they wish. It is also close to some of the charming towns of the area and their amenities. The centre of Greve in Chianti, with its shops, restaurants, bars, and supermarket, is just 3km away. Panzano in Chianti is 8km away, Badia a Passignano is 12km away, Radda in Chianti and San Donato are both 18km away, Castellina in Chianti is 20km away, and Gaiole in Chianti is 30km. Florence, meanwhile, is a really easy day-trip distance away – just 35km – allowing you to readily tick some famous attractions off your bucket list! The famously lovely medieval towns of Siena and San Gimignano are both 46km away.

Casa Aia, living room

Inside, Casa Aia also impresses. As noted, it features a lot of typical and charming Tuscan touches and features, with high ceilings, exposed beam ceilings, a big old fireplace in the kitchen and living room, and some playful details all throughout the house. Lots of doors open directly out into the gardens, making it easy to bring meals, snacks, and drinks outdoors and, again, as previously noted, lots of windows frame the most breath-taking views of the surrounding scenery. Renovated this year, the house also boasts a sleek, high-quality finish and everything you might need for your comfort and convenience.

Casa Aia, bedroom

There is air-conditioning and forced-air heating in addition to WIFI all throughout the property. Spread over two floors, an open living room with a fireplace, a dining area, and a well-equipped kitchenette are located on the ground floor. The kitchen has a stove top, oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave, an electric coffee machine, and a bright yellow Smeg fridge-freezer. A washing machine, high chair, and cot (for children up to 2 years of age) are also available for your use. On the lower ground floor you will find the two bedrooms – one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and another room with two single beds – and an additional bathroom with a massive modern shower.

Casa Aia, twin room

So, for a typically Tuscan escape in the most beautiful setting, why not snap up a stay at Casa Aia for a dream vacation in Tuscany?
