Man Ray was one of the most famous American artists of the 20th century. The house is simple but great. Do not expect a flat screen tv and perfect internet but enjoy the peace and quiet surroundings. Lavendel was no longer in bloom when we were there but in the summer it must be smelling fantastic. We enjoyed staying there

We LOVED it. Our only regret was that we didn't get to spend as much time in the Villa as we would have liked, because there was so much to do in the surrounding cities.

The villa was exactly as described and the location was excellent for our events between Volterra and San Gimignano as well as to Siena and other areas. The grounds and pool were beautiful, superbly kept and the owners were very helpful and informative.
