Nestled just outside Ispica, in the heart of southeastern Sicily, Italy, Profumo di Zagara is a recently renovated two-storey villa set within an expansive two-hectare estate of lemon groves and flowering gardens. Outdoors

The outdoor spaces at Profumo di Zagara are designed to encourage relaxation and al fresco living at every turn. The villa is surrounded by flat lawn areas, flowering shrubs, and fragrant citrus trees that lend the estate its distinctive character. A shaded outdoor dining area is positioned directly beside the villa, adjacent to the pool terrace, and provides an inviting space for meals and gatherings in the open air. The non-heated swimming pool is the centrepiece of the garden, located just a few metres from the villa and accessed via a short path from the French doors of the living area. Rectangular in shape, the pool measures 10 x 5 metres with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 1.40 metres. It is lined in PVC and equipped with a chlorine purification system, a whirlpool area, a waterfall feature, and both Roman steps and a metal ladder for easy access. The surrounding solarium is paved in terracotta and furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas, while a hot and cold outdoor shower adds a practical touch. Internal and external lighting allows the pool area to be enjoyed well into the evening. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Please note that photographs of the property were taken in spring, and the appearance of the garden, including the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the grass, may differ at the time of your arrival.

Unit Layout

Profumo di Zagara accommodates up to 8 guests across 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, arranged over 2 floors and spanning approximately 150 square metres. On the ground floor, the entrance leads directly into the kitchen, which connects to a bright, open-plan dining and living area with direct access to the garden through French doors. Also on this level, you will find 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, and a dedicated laundry room. A distinctive two-level bedroom suite is also located on the ground floor, featuring a double sofa bed and a study area on the lower level, with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower in the loft above. A second bathroom with shower is also situated on this floor. On the first floor, a further double bedroom with a study area completes the sleeping accommodation. Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms.

The property has been inspected by a technical manager to verify the accuracy of the description, the listed accessories, and their current state of operation and maintenance. Acceptance of animals at the property must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, their size, and their breed. A mandatory extra cleaning fee applies in the case of stays involving animals. Tourism tax may be applicable depending on current local regulations.
