THE AREA

There are many reasons to visit Tuscany, the beautiful land set in central Italy. The essence of this region is also contained in the many small villages, often with a medieval heritage, which mark the surrounding landscape of continuous green hills. Pisa with its leaning tower is famous all over the world, as is the Chianti area, known for its wine tradition that produces some of the finest wines. Do not forget the wonderful cities of Florence and Siena.

There are many restaurants, bars and pizzerias in Tuscany offering typical traditional dishes. If you are looking for an authentic place to eat to experience real cuisine and the best wines, you are in the perfect place!

NIGHTLIFE AND BARS

Tuscany may overall be a traditional and historical region of Italy, it still has everything you need in terms of nightlife. Whether you like to take your night walks into the city or enjoy a cocktail with your feet in the sand, in any case, Tuscany offers so many options that you may have a hard time choosing where your next night is going to be.
Summer activities
The best time to visit Tuscany is from April to June and from September to October, when the weather is usually optimal.

ACTIVITIES
Join the only tour that takes you to the Cinque Terre with a day trip from Florence, including a boat ride. Take a Tuscan cooking class, market tour and lunch from Florence. Or join a half-day Chianti wine tour from Florence.

ANNUAL EVENTS
A popular market, the Fiera della Befana, takes place every year between Christmas and the Epiphany in Piazza Navona in the center of Rome. The Viareggio Carnival, one of the most famous pre-Lenten carnivals in the world, is held in February (5, 12, 18, 26, 28 February)
