The Valdichiana, its landscapes and colors. Picchio Verde is a lovely farmhouse located between the two villages of Castiglion Fiorentino and Foiano della Chiana. It is placed where the Valdichiana is characterized by a natural environment made of gentle profiles, each of which hides an innumerable amount of landscapes that change appearance and color depending on the season. Castiglion Fiorentino, which is about 8 km away, offers all kinds of services, as well as restaurants and supermarkets, but also a small but precious old historical center full of narrow streets, old buildings and churches to visit.
The outdoor areas and the swimming pool. Around the house a large green space completely fenced and shaded by tall pine trees, with covered parking and children's playground and a beautiful and panoramic swimming pool (size mt. 12x6, depth mt 1.20-2.20). At guests' disposal also a large porch furnished with table and benches for “al fresco” dinners and equipped with swing, wood-burning oven and barbecue.
Furnishing and farmhouse equipment. The farmhouse, consisting of the main house and a small annexe, is furnished with period furniture and some antiques and has air conditioning in the bedrooms, mosquito nets, dishwasher and washing machine.

GROUND FLOOR: with entrance through wide porch furnished with table and benches for outdoor meals and swing, on a large living-dining room with sofas, fireplace and TV. Kitchen-dining room.
FIRST FLOOR: with access from internal staircase, double bedroom, bathroom with shower, connecting twin bedroom, double bedroom.
ANNEX: double bedroom, bathroom with shower with access also from pool area, pergola with external small kitchen corner with fridge, wood burning oven, barbecue area and table and chairs for outdoor meals.
