Continuing on from our last post, we have been discussing some of our most-reviewed properties in Italy to help you find the right holiday destination with your peace of mind assured. Luckily, here at Italy Villas, we have been blessed with lots of customers who give us great feedback so it was easy to compile a list of some of the excellent villas and experiences you can expect when you book with us! Here are two more examples.

3. Podere Il Doccio

Podere Il Doccio is a beautiful property that is comprised of four private units. Located in the Arno Valley, 9 km from Terranuova Bracciolini, it is a lovely and peaceful place. Arezzo, Greve In Chianti, Florence, Siena and Montepulciano are all close enough for day trips but the property itself is so quiet and pleasant that you might never want to leave.

You begin researching a vacation, decide on a destination and then start looking for the perfect holiday rental. Once you've found some good options, it can be hard to narrow them down but one thing that really helps are reviews. 1. Montegufoni

Montegufoni is a wonderful castle dating back to the 12th century that was restored in the 17th century by the Acciaioli family, who added its distinctive and impressive tower that was modelled after the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. Part of a large estate that is comprised of gardens, vineyards and olive trees in the heart of the Chianti region, it is located 1km away from the small village of Montagnana and 20km from Florence.

9. Roma

This elegant 2nd floor apartment that has been recently renovated, is located right in the old city centre of Rome, near Vatican City. Compact but spacious, it is a comfortable and tastefully decorated apartment, largely executed in neutral tones of cream and white, that makes for a lovely and restful place to come home to at the end of a long day of sight-seeing. Perfectly located, it is just a short distance from the Vatican Museums, Castel San'Angelo and renowned Via Cola di Rienzo (for a spot of shopping).

6. Pia

Pia is a cosy and stylish chalet, built in 2015 across three storeys that is located in the hamlet of Ciampei in the Italian Alps. Situated 6km from St. Martin in Thurn, it is a quiet, sunny place in the countryside with a stunning mountainous backdrop. The interior is beautifully decorated and it perfectly frames the incredible views outside. Sleeping 16, this is a great place for a luxurious ski break as a group, with all the mod-cons (WIFI, large flatscreen television and open-hearth in the living room, fully equipped kitchen, etc) and ski specific facilities such as a ski boot dryer, ski rental and a ski school nearby. Available from €984 per night, this modern ski chalet is a serious gem.
