Come to the lesser travelled region of Molise on your next Italian vacation to experience all the exquisite attractions it has to offer! Molise is a small central region which was part of Abruzzo until 1963 and comprises of two provinces called Campobasso and Isernia.

The capital city of Campobasso is built across deep ravines and valleys which can make it quite challenging for tourists to fully explore but there’s lots of interesting monuments and museums to visit on your trip here.

Near to the city is a site of fascinating Roman ruins in Saepinum to tour around or if you’re holidaying here in the winter months, the nearby Monti del Mateseare are great for skiing.
Termoli and its beach
Molise has a spectacular coastline so why not spend a few days in the gorgeous seaside town of Termoli? Enjoy the superb shopping amenities here as well as savouring the fruits of the busy fishing industry of the town in its restaurants.

There are some interesting historic and cultural tours to embark on in the old centre or why not take a few hours to sail out to the three Tremiti Islands to explore their beauty and escape from the hustle and bustle for a while.

Take a day to explore Isernia, believed to be one of Europe’s oldest human settlements!

Evidence of fire being used by humans here dates back to over 700,000 years ago and tourists can avail of several tours in the area explaining these precious archaeological finds in greater detail.
Lago Guardialfiera in Molise
Go on a charming tour around the smaller towns of Agnone, Scapoli and Frosolone; well known for their bell making, knife forging and bagpipe making traditions.

Spend a leisurely afternoon at the stunning Lago di Guardialfiera where you can savour a delicious picnic of local foods and go swimming or sunbathing along its sandy shores.
