This is believed to be the cloth that was wrapped around Jesus after he was taken down from the cross and prepared for being laid to rest in a tomb. Many tests were conducted over the years to prove its authenticity.

They’re made from a mixture of sugar, cocoa and hazelnuts and made into upturned boat shapes. Gianduiotti are individually wrapped like presents in gold or silver paper. They would be a lovely treat to enjoy along with a great cup of coffee as you watch the sun set over this enchanting city.
