Santamargherita is located conveniently in a rural setting not far from Arezzo. The hosts were very helpful and the rooms were clean and adequate. It is ideal for a Tuscany area base if you are traveling by car. We took day trips to Siena and to Rome via express train from the Arezzo station. We should have stayed another day and day-tripped to Florence by train. The photo is a view from our window overlooking some old, quaint farm buildings. Highly recommend.

We (family of five) had a great time in this very special environment. It was like going back in time when entering the appartment (though it had WiFi, TV, a modern kitchen etc). Very good location to visit Venice and other nice towns like Treviso. Also a great pool to relax and spend the day when not going out.

We loved our stay at Tenuta Di Corsano. A stunning property and Liliana and Nanni were lovely and very welcoming, even watching the world cup with us. Was definitely a highlight of our holiday

Very spacious and comfortable country house, dating from 17th century. Tastefully restored and retaining lots of character. Excellent setting on hillside, peaceful, with total privacy and beautiful vistas along valley. Large, well cared for garden, with private pool and plenty of shade, Owners very welcoming and helpful. Cortona is 30 mins drive. Lake Trasimeno 30 mins in opposite direction - both worth visiting. Excellent location to relax with the family.

July 2014. Had a wonderful time. Staff very helpful. Views fantastic. Seperate restuarant was just right & extremely helpful to small changes to the meal plus wonderful daily hand made pasta dishes. Need a car really - unless happy for pool and walks around about - but such wonderful views as you drive around pity to miss that.
