“We spent a week with Ivan and his family. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals in Tuscany, but we’ve never been welcomed and hosted as warmly as we were here. The furnishings are of the high quality typical of Tuscany, and the kitchen is well-stocked and fully equipped.
Everything was spotless, and the property was very well maintained by the family. Great pool with a small diving board—ideal for families. There’s a small outbuilding available for separate rent that’s very modern and tastefully decorated. “Staying at Casa Ivan was the highlight of my trip to Italy. We rented the house for three weeks and used it as our homebase, coming back to it after a few days in different places around Italy. We were always very eager to get back to Cortona and Casa Ivan. The family who owns the home and live upstairs are the kindest people I've ever met and made us all feel at home and part of the family. We had wonderful baked goods, special treats, espresso in the afternoons in the kitchen upstairs. It was just a treat to be at Casa Ivan. I am already planning my return trip, they family truly strives to make their home feel like your second home. They are very successful at doing this and making you feel part of the family.
