For cyclists: 400 meters away from the house, you will find a cycle path that runs along the river and allows you to reach the new cycling path of Ponente Ligure, which leads to Sanremo and to the part of Imperia called "Imperia Oneglia".
Total length of the seaside cycling path: about 32 km. Highly recommended: it is a very panoramic and flat route, built over the old dismissed railway line.
Possibility of renting bicycles about 2 km away (in Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo).
Note: to get to the house there is a short uphill section.
For Padel players: bring your equipment! Corcuera Padel Imperia, with 2 courts available, is just 400 meters away.

The park surrounding Torre La Ripa extends across a hilly terrain arranged on various terraced levels, encompassing approximately 2,000 square metres of completely fenced garden bordered by a generous expanse of olive trees along the perimeter. Areas of well-maintained lawn alternate with elegantly paved surfaces, all embellished with brightly coloured potted plants and fragrant bushes of Mediterranean herbs, creating a vibrant and sensory outdoor environment. On the side of the main exits from the house, a large panoramic terrace has been thoughtfully arranged to include a dedicated outdoor dining area, offering a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. Please note that the garden photographs were taken in spring, and therefore the flowering and the colours of the grass may differ from what you will find upon arrival at the villa. The non-heated swimming pool is situated just a few metres from the house on a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills of Cortona, and is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday of October. Rectangular in shape with Roman steps providing access to the water, the pool measures 8 x 4 metres with a constant depth of 1.25 metres. Lined in clear-coloured PVC with a stone border, it is equipped with chlorine purification, internal and external lighting, and a cold-water shower. The generous sunbathing area surrounding the pool is furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas, creating the perfect setting for moments of pure relaxation.
Unit Layout
Torre La Ripa is configured across 3 floors connected by internal stairs, plus a panoramic turret, and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. On the ground floor, a French window in the entrance leads into a large open-plan living area enlivened by arched openings, comprising a lounge with satellite TV, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen with practical and direct access to the outdoor dining area. Please note that the fireplace on this floor is ornamental. This level is also served by a bathroom with shower. The sleeping area is distributed across the upper floors. On the first floor, you will find a double bedroom served by a bathroom with shower, as well as a twin bedroom with joinable beds and a private bathroom with shower; this twin room benefits from direct access to the garden through a French window. On the second floor, there is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower, and a further double bedroom with dividable beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower, this last room featuring a bed positioned in the loft area of the turret, illuminated by several panoramic windows. A gazebo positioned next to the cottage provides a shaded and furnished outdoor dining area, complete with table and chairs, a barbecue, and a wood oven — the perfect setting for long summer dinners under a sky filled with stars, accompanied by the scent of burning wood and the sound of crickets. The exclusive wellness area is undoubtedly one of the most distinctive features of the property. The non-heated rectangular swimming pool, built in 2020, measures 8 by 6 metres with a depth ranging from 10 centimetres to 1.5 metres, and is equipped with night lighting. Adjacent to the pool, a 50 square metre solarium — partly lawn and partly paved — is furnished with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a gazebo with table and chairs ideal for breakfast. The pool is available from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday of October. Completing the wellness offering is a Jacuzzi tub and a characteristic wooden sauna built in a barrel-like structure with a panoramic front window. The sauna interior is crafted from red alder and powered by a wood stove, with essential oils and honey available to accompany the ritual of a traditional Finnish sauna experience.
