Description
In 1996 we moved to the Crete Senesi and we fell in love with this farmhouse Etruscan origins, medieval mill, peace and tranquillity. That’s why we decided to share it with our guests and their four-legged friends.
The farm keeps the whole family busy: Alessandro (biologist, nature guide and Sommelier), Elisa who looks after the administration, Mauro and Paola, retired but full time busy on the farm. And we hope that in the future even Emma and Guido will give us a helping hand.
We produce vegetables and fruit, olive oil and truffles from organic agriculture.
For our guests we organize a rich programme of initiatives discovering the colours and flavours of the Crete, wine tasting in our cosy winery and excursions by bike guided by Alessandro who is fond of cycling.

The non-heated swimming pool occupies a splendid panoramic position overlooking Lake Trasimeno and is situated at a lower level relative to the main house, remaining visible from several of the bedrooms. Rectangular in shape with a graceful semicircular end featuring Roman steps for entry, the pool measures 5 by 10 metres with a constant depth of 1.50 metres. It is lined in white PVC, equipped with internal lighting and a salt purification system, and can be covered during the night. The pool is available from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. Surrounding the pool, a spacious solarium area, largely laid to grass, provides the ideal setting for sunbathing and relaxation, complete with sunbeds, deckchairs, a gazebo, and an umbrella. A portico with a wood stove, a large table and chairs, a hot and cold water shower, and a small stone building housing a kitchenette, bathroom, and changing room complete this exceptional outdoor leisure area.
