The various areas are elegantly defined by characteristic low walls in local stone, which also trace the many pathways winding through the estate. The upper portion of the grounds is distinctly Mediterranean in character, alternating between rocky terrain and native plants, while the areas surrounding the housing units are softened by palms, tall trees, flowering hedges, and stretches of lawn adjacent to the solarium area. To the left of the units, a beautiful and comfortable portico with sea view has been furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining and features a built-in barbecue, making it an ideal setting for alfresco meals in the warm Salento evenings. The solarium area is equipped with sunbeds and a shower, offering a comfortable and easily accessible space for relaxation beside the pool. Please note that photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the flowering and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you observe upon arrival.
The centrepiece of the outdoor area is the stunning rectangular infinity pool, located approximately 5 metres from the main unit and reached via a few steps. Measuring 8 by 5 metres with a constant depth of 1.30 metres, the pool is lined in sand-coloured PVC and features chlorine purification as well as Roman steps in one corner for easy water access. Its elevated position affords guests a magnificent view of the sea, and the surrounding solarium completes the picture with effortless elegance. As daylight fades, the entire property is illuminated, and the pool reflects the surrounding landscape in a spectacle that shifts from the countless shades of blue of the daytime hours to the soft glow of moonlight in the evening. Surrounding the house is a large furnished terrace with a sitting area beneath a canopy, offering shade and comfort during warm days. On the opposite side of the terrace, a second living area features masonry sofas and is directly accessible from one of the double bedrooms. Romantic paths wind up a hill through evergreens and Mediterranean scrub, leading to a dining area shaded by reeds, complete with an outdoor kitchen, a large brick barbecue, and a generous wooden table with long benches. At the end of this path, a masonry living area provides a breathtaking view over the Vendicari marsh. Steps bordered by fragrant rosemary descend to the lower level of the garden, where the pool area awaits. The park also features a cactus garden and a decorative pond, though caution is advised around the pond when children are present. Please be aware that the photographs of the property were taken in spring, meaning that the flowering and the colours of the garden grass may differ at the time of your arrival.
The centrepiece of the outdoor area is the magnificent non-heated infinity pool, located in a secluded position approximately 50 metres from the villa and not visible from the main building. Reached by descending a flight of 15 steps to a lower level of the garden, this rectangular pool measures 16 x 4 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 1.80 metres. It is lined in PVC with a border in light-coloured local stone, and the surrounding teak wood flooring provides ample space for relaxation, furnished with deckchairs and sunbeds beneath a bamboo cover. The pool is equipped with lighting both inside and outside, allowing it to be enjoyed during the evening hours as well. It remains open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Adjacent to the pool, a changing room with hot-water showers and a bathroom ensures full comfort, and a small air-conditioned gym equipped with 2 exercise bikes and a multi-purpose bench is also located nearby.
