The owners run a nice restaurant on the premises where it is possible to taste excellent local recipes (the restaurant is open every night from June to September included, over the weekend during the months of April, May and October - for the rest of the year the restaurant is available upon request) .

Description
Al Mennucci is located 3 km (2 mi) from Colle Di Compito, Italy and only 17 km (11 mi) from Lucca. Al Mennucci is a nice holiday rental (130 sq m) with private pool, air conditioning and WiFi internet. The property can sleep up to eight people comfortably in three bedrooms with three bathrooms. If playing a round of golf is important while on vacation, you are in luck because there is a course nearby.
What to Expect
This house was originally an old hayloft which has recently been converted into a delightful cottage. It is located in a superb position, high in the hills, 15 km to the south-east of Lucca, and surrounded by olive groves and pine trees. There are fantastic views over the countryside and the plain of Montecatini in the distance.
Close to the pool area, there is a stone-built barbecue and pizza oven, an outdoor shower and an outdoor dining area. Near the driveway, about 20 metres from the house, there is small guesthouse with a double bedroom and bathroom. The secluded position and the fact that it is accessible by its private road ensure peace and tranquillity for the guests of Al Mennucci. This road lasts for 1 km and it is unsealed, therefore not suitable for low sport cars.
Upon arrival at Al Mennucci you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills perfect for a relaxing holiday in Tuscany. After a hectic day of sightseeing, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to relax at the end the day. If you enjoy cooking for family and friends there is a well-equipped kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to eight people. If you prefer to dine 'al fresco', there is a fully furnished veranda where you can enjoy the weather while dining outdoors.
