The foundations of Villa Medicea Lo Sprocco date back to the 1400s, commissioned by Lorenzo and Giovanni de' Medici, sons of Pier Francesco, and later sold to Taddeo Ducci in 1494. A cornerstone of the ancient Medici lineage, the Villa incorporates an 11th-century Ubaldina tower and was chosen by Lorenzo the Magnificent as a hunting lodge. After passing through the Gherardi family, the property was acquired by the Bolognese de' Bianchi family. Property Ricavoli is a nice stone building (450 sq m) that includes WiFi internet and private pool. The property can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably in six bedrooms with five bathrooms. If playing a round of golf is important while on holiday, you are in luck because there is a course nearby.
