The famous renaissance painter, who came from this area, is a rare case of a great artist who continued to live and work in the place where he was born. His major works are in Arezzo, Sansepolcro and Monterchi. Caprese Michelangelo is where the great artist Michelangelo was born. In this area there is also one of the most beautiful mediaeval village of Italy, Anghiari : If you look up at the town from the valley you can enjoy a wonderful view, but wandering in the streets of the old town is even more delightful. Visitors can walk along the lanes and admire the traditional stone houses, stairways and attractive small squares which reflect the varied history of the town over the centuries.
Not far from Arezzo there is Cortona , an incredible etruscan city with such an incredible view that reaches the Trasimeno lake.

The property although divided into apartments is rented to one group of people.
The property is composed by 2 buildings: main building composed by 3 apartments ( not communicating internally) La Loggia and Il Seccatoio for rent and one lived in by the owner.
The barn with the apartment Il Fienile.
Each apartment has its own kitchen. The apartment Il Seccatoio has a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and could well be used as the main kitchen of the house.
A big table in the garden can accommodate all the guests in the house.
For those of you who like to bring their pet, Il Seccatoio apartment also has its own fenced in garden to keep the pet secure.
The property offers a breathtaking view of the Tuscan green hills and is the ideal accommodation for those who love quiet places and want to stroll in the countryside.
It is situated on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, a good position to reach historic cities, such as Arezzo, Siena, Florence, Assisi and Gubbio.
In the nearby there is Monterchi, where the famous fresco "Madonna del Parto" by Piero della Francesca is to be admired, it’s just a few kilometres from the villa.

Apartment Il Fienile sqm 60(5 pax). Ground floor: the apartment in composed of living room/kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower. A spiral stair leads to the first floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 3 single bed.
