Villa Carolina is a wonderful 3 bedroom villa located in the centre of Tuscany in the beautiful wine region between Florence and Siena, just 1 km from the tiny historic hamlet of Linari. Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in der Ferienwohnung Ortensia verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es ist so gemacht wie man sich den toskanischen Stil vorstellt. Teracottafarbene Fliesen im Bad. Holz an der Decke und Blumenbilder an den Wänden. Die Terrasse und der Garten sind traumhaft und was in der Beschreibung gar nicht erwähnt wird, ist der Ausblick auf San Gimignano. Der ist sensationell. Sonnenuntergang mit Blick auf die Türme. Sooo schön.
Aber wenn man dort Urlaub macht, sollte man eine Schere mitbringen, einen Vorlegelöffel oder sonst was um das Essen aus dem Topf zu kriegen und Kopfkissen :-) Die in der Wohnung vorhandenen waren uns zu hart. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben uns ihre Telefonnummer gegeben falls was ist.
San Gimignano ist in einer Viertelstunde über einen Feldweg zu erreichen. Der geht zwar bergauf bergab ist aber auch mit Buggy, Kinderwagen oder ähnlichem befahrbar. Der Supermarkt ist auch ganz nah, da sind wir aber eh immer mit dem Auto hingefahren.

Super Lage, tolle Sicht vom Garten auf den Ort. Kleines Haus mit typischer Einrichtung, es war alles vorhanden. Sauber! Leider ein sehr unbequemes Bett und eine defekte Couch im Wohnraum. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett uns alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen.

Unfortunately a very uncomfortable bed and a broken couch in the living room. The owners were very nice to us. All in all, we liked it very much.
