Property Description
Montecuccoli with 3 units: two adjoining small villas, each with its private outdoor space and third larger villa (detached from the 2 Casette) sleeping 11 guests, is immersed in the green of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by its estate of about 2000 m² in a panoramic setting favourable to outings and excursions.
The owners live in a separate house on the premises, available in case of need - only the two gardens are partially attached.
At guests' disposal:
Shared with the 3 units: Swimming pool ( mts 12 x 6 x depth 1.5 m ) and pool with massaging water jets, chlorine free (mts 8 x 6 depth 0.30 / 1.20 mts).
Guests will also have use of a park, furnished garden area, covered terrace, barbecue, parking area, laundry area with washing machine and dryer to be shared between the 2 units Casetta Melograno and Casetta Olivo, located close to unit Casetta Melograno, wifi, satellite, baby bed, and a highchair.

In the nearby small town of Montelupo Fiorentino (famous for terracotta and ceramics) you can find shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pizzerias and the Ceramics Museum.
Also the nearness of the railway station and of the dual carriageway FIRENZE-PISA-LIVORNO, means that the nearest cities of art (Vinci 15 Km, Florence 25 Km, Pisa 50 Km, Siena 90 Km) and the sea (Versilia 80 Km, Grosseto 150 Km) are easily reachable. You can also find a golf club only 2 km away.
Interior Description
Casa Montecuccoli is a house with two storeys 250 m2.
The hall on the ground floor takes you into a large dining room with vaulted ceilings, fireplace, wood oven, satellite TV and access to the garden outside.
From the hall you can also enter the newly designed kitchen with four-ring kitchen hob, dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer and access to the external covered terrace with table, chairs and barbecue for a traditional Tuscan "arrosto" (grill).
One of the five double bedrooms of the house, furnished in style and taste typical of the area, is also found on this floor( the bedroom has 1 double bed and 1 single bed). There are two bathrooms with shower.
Having climbed the stone staircase to the first floor you find yourself in a comfortable sitting room with fireplace, satellite TV and large windows (the original structure of the barn is visible) with a view of the garden, swimming pool and surrounding countryside. The ceilings with wooden beams and terracotta tiles, the latter also used to pave the floors, make the warm classic Tuscan style again apparent.
A corridor gives you access to the sleeping area of the house which has four double bedrooms (each with valuable olive-wood- floors and ceilings with beams and terracotta tiles, 1 double bedroom and 3 with twin beds all convertible in double), and 3 bathrooms with shower.

A group of 9 family and friends truly enjoyed our stay at the Villa. It was amazingly prepared and Manuela was simply wonderful as a host. The villa is more charming in person than in the pictures. It was full of Italian character yet completely up-to-date with modern bathrooms and amenities. The weather was unseasonably hot when we visited in the summer, but the air conditioning and pool made it all comfortable.
The pool area is particularly lovely and was a delight to return to after touring every day. The pool water was the perfect temperature: cool enough to be refreshing but not uncomfortably chilly. One half of the grassy area surrounding the pool is shaded while the other half is sunny, allowing our group to chose the spot of their liking.
The covered outdoor dining space was so inviting we ended up eating our meals at home every night. The large table had no trouble accommodated our group of 11.
The only thing I would change is that the mattresses are very firm and all the beds use single-size mattresses. (In some rooms the mattresses are attached to act as a one two-person bed but with a seam in the middle.) Some people might prefer the extra firm mattresses since that's matter of taste.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
Our group of family members ranged from age 17 to 76-three generations. For our first night we had 4 extra and the lovely owners provided extra cots for us to include our other traveling family. The villa is beautiful, the beds comfortable, the scenery very peaceful and pretty. We had a cooking lesson in our own house and the villa accommodated our experience. All prearrangement were properly handled. We rented a large Van at the airport and were able to use it to drive 9 peopleto Lucca and back and forth to Montelupo for dinners and to the train station for our trips into Florence. We did a big tour of Siena and other towns in 2 vans with drivers/guides. We had a wonderful experience.

La casa es comodísima, con un aire acondicionado silencioso, bien decorada, limpia y con todos los detalles en perfecto estado. La piscina es espectacular con luz toda la noche y el exterior impecablemente cuidado y con puertas automáticas para entrar los coches. Manuela, su hija y su yerno encantadores y sus recomendaciones de qué visitar y dónde comer fueron un acierto total y descubrimos la Toscana auténtica. Casa Montecuccoli is perfect for a relaxing stay in Florence. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. The owner is extremely helpful and generous, but she doesn't hover. It's just a 15 minute train ride into Florence (you will need a car to get to the train station) and the property is right off of the autostrade, convenient if you plan to visit other neighboring towns. We will be back!

Nicely situated between Pisa and Florence, within short driving distance from a lot of beautiful towns and villages. Not possible to walk to the nearest village, due to very narrow road and no pavement. On the whole, a very good experience in Tuscany.
