Cozy small private house situated in dominating location in a small charming hamlet of Liguria region. This property is near the hamlet church, nestled among the hills typical of Liguria coastline. The house offers beautiful extensive views over the surrounding Mediterranean landscape with nice olive trees and the sea in the distance. A furnished partially covered terrace is available and ideal to relax, to sunbathe and to have nice al-fresco dinners. The furnishing is simply and comfortable, in a rustic style. The beaches of the Liguria coastline are a short distance away. Car highly suggested.
The access is via a narrow road going uphill of approx. 600 m, not suitable to large cars and parking approx. 60 m. Public parking approx. 150 m away (walking).
Distances: Levanto with all kinds of shops, beaches a small harbour 3,5 km away, Cinque Terre 5 km away, Portovenere 50 km, Lerici 53 km away, Portofino 65 km, Forte dei Marmi (18-hole golf course) 75 km away, Genova (airport) 80 km. Pisa (airport) 115 km, Sanremo (casino) 225 km away, Siena 245 km away. The Principality of Monaco is approx. 260 km away.
At guests disposal: partially covered terrace (13 square meters) furnished with a table, chairs, sun-chairs and a small barbecue. The bedrooms provide air-conditioning, the living area is heated by a wooden stove.
A parking is approx. 60 m or 150 m away.
Extra Services: baby bed available upon request free of charge. Maid service available by arrangement (€ 13,- / per hour to be paid locally).

9. La Regolina

La Regolina is a lovely farmhouse, located in a beautiful position overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Levanto in Liguria, an area that adjoins the famous “Cinque Terre”. Carefully restored and tastefully furnished by the owner, an architect, it boasts modern facilities in an original farmhouse setting and six bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a very large sunny terrace, leading from the sitting room, furnished for eating outside while enjoying fantastic views over the sea.

Spring is a beautiful time of year, when the earth defrosts after the long winter, flowers burst free from their slumber deep below the ground, baby animals find their footing on lush green pastures, the sun begins to show up on a more regular basis, tourist crowds awaken but remain smaller, and everything comes roaring back to life. It is a perfect time for a vacation, before demands and costs run high and the sun starts beating down, and Italy, in particular, is especially lovely at this time of year. 5. Levanto, Liguria

The Ligurian Coast is swamped come Summer, particularly along the famous Cinque Terre. However, this lesser-known town is actually also an incredibly popular destination as one of the best surf destinations in Italy, which are in short supply.

The famous Cinque Terre is a beloved tourist area of Italy known for a series of five picturesque towns located along the coastline. Many who find a vacation rental in the Cinque Terre will drive or even hike between the different towns to take them in and enjoy the various attractions in each. However, we think if you’re really going to explore and make the most of this magical part of the world, then the best way to get around is certainly by boat!

The Cinque Terre is a famously beautiful coastal part of Italy but, when one imagines it, one tends to picture the pretty and colourful cluster of houses hugging a rugged cliff-side that descends to a bay bobbing with yachts and little fishing boats. However, if you have found a vacation rental in the Cinque Terre and are spending time in the area, you will be glad to know that these aren’t the only stunning seaside scenes that you will encounter.

You will also find some of the prettiest traditional perfect soft-sand-and-blue-seas beaches in Italy. There aren’t that many and most are only small stretches that can be found next to some of the towns in the area but there are a couple that are more spacious and impressive affairs, like the most obvious and best example, the picture-perfect Spiaggia di Fegina.

In Italy, in some places you will find that there are both regular areas on beaches and paid sections where there are more facilities on offer including umbrellas, loungers, toilet and changing facilities, snack bars, and more. Some or all of these amenities can be available on regular, unpaid beaches and then there are some beaches that do not have paid areas at all but they are quite common and can be found all over Italy. For many, the certainty of being assured of a nice spot on the beach, of having all of the various accoutrements of a comfortable day on the beach without having to drag them all around with you, and the ease and convenience of all of this make it very much worth spending the cash. However, not all paid beaches are made equal. Some are particularly beautiful and some are particularly luxurious. While it does not fit in the completely luxurious category but is extremely convenient and one of the best and most scenic beaches on offer in the Cinque Terre, the Bathing Resort Il Gigante Monterosso Al Mare is a noteworthy paid beach in Liguria.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hébergement, très bien situé, dans un village parfait comme base de départ pour visiter les cinq terres. Cette petite maison contient tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour à 4 personnes maxi. Le chauffage du réz de chaussée est un poële à bois un peu ancien, plutôt difficile à allumer. Aux étages, chaque chambre est équipée d'une climatisation réversible. Le lieu de parking est un peu éloigné de l'hébergement (5 minutes à pied) et il faut donc porter les bagages : à déconseiller donc aux personnes ayant des difficultés pour marcher. AUtre point négatif : la maison est située au pied d'un clocher qui sonne les heures et le demi-heures, même la nuit. Pour notre part nous avons malgré tout apprécié cet hébergement et l'accueil qui nous a été réservé.

This small house contains everything you need for a good stay for 4 people max. The heating on the ground floor is a wood stove, a little old, rather difficult to ignite. On the floors, each room is equipped with a reversible air-conditioning. The parking is a little distant from the accommodation (5 minutes on foot) and it is necessary to carry the luggage: so not advisable for people having difficulties to walk. Another negative point: the house is located at the foot of a bell tower that rings on the hours and half-hours, even at night. For our part we have nevertheless enjoyed this accommodation and the welcome that has been reserved for us.

Wir waren eine Woche im Herbst 2014 da. Das Haus ist wunderbar rustikal und gleichzeitig top rennoviert, modern eingerichtet und sauber. Der Vermieter ist korrekt. Die 3 km nach Levanto sind vertretbar - dafür lebt man in einem Bergdorf mit einem gemütlichen Holzofen. Vorsicht: direkt neben dem Glockenturm. Das Sofa könnte mal ersetzt werden - nix für Stauballergiker. Die Stromrechnung war ganz schön hoch: 36 €/5 Tage. Das sehr heiße Wasser wird wohl elektrisch auf die 80°C gebracht.
Gern wieder.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We spent a week there in autumn 2014. The house is wonderfully rustic and at the same time very well renovated, modernly equipped and clean. The landlord is friendly. The 3km to Levanto are reasonable and acceptable as one lives in a mountain village with a cozy wood stove. Attention: right next to the bell tower. The sofa needed to be replaced - it was not good for dust allergy sufferers. The electricity bill was quite high: 36 € for 5 days. The very hot water is probably electrically adjusted at 80°C. We wish to come back.
