La Regolina is a lovely farmhouse, located in a beautiful position overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Levanto in Liguria, an area that adjoins the famous “Cinque Terre”. Carefully restored and tastefully furnished by the owner, an architect, it boasts modern facilities in an original farmhouse setting and six bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a very large sunny terrace, leading from the sitting room, furnished for eating outside while enjoying fantastic views over the sea.

It has gorgeous views from the terrace and the windows on the sea view side of the house. We greatly enjoyed our stay there...the pleasures of cooking in that great house with rosemary picked outside the kitchen door, the joys of drinks made with freshly crushed mint plucked from behind the hammock, and enjoying this food and drink on the terrace with the gorgeous Mediterranean Sea stretching across the horizon made up for ants and other minor inconveniences. If you can welcome nature into your life, you will enjoy your stay at Le Lagore and will leave wishing, as we did, that you could stay on for at least a little while longer.”

A lovely, well-maintained property, it is ideal for a peaceful holiday in Tuscany and other famous cities such as Cortona, Siena, Greve In Chianti and Montepulciano are close enough for day trips. Matthew H from Warrenton in the United States describes it thusly: “We had a wonderful time in Tuscany and Il Pigionale was one of the main reasons. It's an old building but in perfect shape, spotlessly clean, and thus very charming. The piazza in which it's located is scenic and lovely. Most important, Irene, the property manager, was friendly and helpful and flexible and...just great. She was a big part of making this a really memorable stay.”
