La Cenerara is a large villa, spread across 2 floors, that is located in the hills of Emilia Romagna, close by both Parma and Piacenza. With a pool, mini football pitch, trampoline, beautiful natural surroundings and a horse-riding facility, it is the perfect place of business retreats, family holidays and getaways with friends alike. Charming and well-maintained, the villa has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and sleeps up to 13 people.

The whole house and the surrounding grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The caretaker was excellent and very responsive to our (few) needs. Look at it as more of a retreat destination for you may not want to leave much during your stay.”

Certaldo is an ancient building that is comprised of 4 apartments (one is occupied by the property owners) situated in the historical centre of the medieval town of Certaldo Alto. All of the 3 units have been recently and beautifully restored and have bright, cosy interiors.

Guests have access to a beautiful tower that overlooks the roofs of the ancient town and boasts unbeatable and incredible panoramic views over the surrounding landscape and San Gimignano in the distance. Furnished with tables and chairs and sun-beds, it is a wonderful place to relax and take in the charming and historic surroundings of both the town and property. One reviewer put it like this, “The setting of Certaldo Alto is a great spot for soaking in the culture of Tuscany. It was a medieval town and still has an air of antiquity about it. The [property] was perfectly situated, just a few steps from an enoteca (wine bar) and less than 3 minutes' walk to several great restaurants and attractions. The views from our room and the surrounding castle were breathtaking. The owner is a nice lady and was very helpful to us while we stayed there. They arranged for us to be picked up at the train station via private car, and dropped off at the train station when we departed.”
