Esperienza al di sopra di ogni aspettativa. L'appartamento è all'interno di una fortificazione medioevale, con affaccio sulla Valle. Pulitissimo e dotato di ogni servizio ha, di pertinenza, UNA TORRE! Fare colazione sulla sommità di una torre medioevale di avvistamento è davvero impagabile. Il silenzio e la pace sono garantiti dalla collocazione in un borgo antico ma non sfruttato dal turismo di massa

Bonito apartamento cómodo y buena atención por parte de Jane. Tener acceso a la torre y subir a la torre al atardecer a tomar una copa de vino, era ideal. Estuvimos muy agusto, el pueblo de Certaldo alto nos encantó. muy recomendable!

Good location for Tuscany's trip starting for, through the Val d'Elsa, the Chianti's roads and those very very charming buildings and towers of Volterra and San Gimignano. The host (Jane) was very gentle and exhaustive. the apartment comfortable, the overall structure an ancient and characteristic construction from the old medieval age.

Considérant l'accès plutôt compliqué à notre appartement, un deuxième trousseau de clés aurait été nécessaire. L'équipement de la cuisine est moins que minimal. Il fallait se déplacer près de l'appartement du propriétaire pour avoir accès à l'Internet.
Les lieux sont cependant charmants et propres.

Wunderschöner Palazzo inmitten historischer Altstadt (in direkter Nachbarschaft von Giovanni Boccacios Sterbehaus), liebevoll saniert, mit Ausichtsturm!!! Blick bis San Gimignano. Bezaubernd! Mobiliar ausreichend und geschmackvoll, Bad schön mit WM. Parken im Hof. Standseilbahn vor der Tür. Man lebt dort sehr intim und gediegen.

Aufenthalt für 9 Nächte. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in Certaldo Alto in einem alten Palazzo. Mit der Wohnung kann der Turm des Palastes genutzt werden. Hervorragende Sicht auf Certald Alto, Certaldo Ort, in die Landschaft der Toscana bis San Gimignano.
Gastgeber freundlich und hilfsbereit. Verständigung auf Englisch war möglich. Gastronomie in der Altstadt und im Ort reichlich vorhanden. Bahnhof innerhalb von 15 Minuten erreichbar, Verbindungen nach Siena/Florenz und Pisa stündlich.
Supermarkt (ca. 2 km) mit Auto erreichbar.

Stay for 9 nights. The property is located in the heart of Certaldo Alto in an ancient palazzo. With the apartment one can use also the tower of the palace. Excellent view of Certaldo Alto, Certaldo place, of the countryside of Toscana up to San Gimignano.
Hosts friendly and helpful. Communication in English was possible.
Several restaurants in the old town and nearby. Train station reachable within 15 minutes, connections to Siena/Florence and Pisa every hour. Supermarket (about 2 km) by car.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
Sehr schön saniertes Objekt, mit einfacher, jedoch zweckmäßig ausgestatteter Ferienwohnung. Die Anfahrtsbeschreibung passt nicht ganz: die elektronische Schranke an der Zufahrt zur Altstadt ist nicht in Betrieb. Die Durchfahrt ist somit möglich, eine Abholung von dort wird nicht erfolgen.

Very nice renovated apartment, with simple, but functional equipment. The directions do not quite fit: the electronic barrier at the entrance to the old town is not in operation. The passage is thus possible, a pickup from there will not take place.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
The apartment was better than expected based on website information. We were treated very well by the owners and appreciated their service and interest in us.
Driving to this property is very challenging as it is in a 'no car' zone. The directions I received on the booking form were inadequate and some of the information no longer applies. Please revise this part of the info package.

Beautyfull landscape and architecture, we were treated like king and queen, so close to transportation yet so far from tourist joint, this place was more than just a one night stand! Appartment is so comfortable and clean, people are so nice. Reserve early and get an appartment here you will remember all your life. Stay several days and take the train to Firenze or Sienna (leave the car there, it is so easy with the train) and don't forget Sangimigiano! ... so much to see in Toscany! Start with Certaldo Alto!

Wspaniałe miejsce w starym miasteczku na wzgórzu, piękny widok z apartamentu na miasto (nowe Certaldo) a z sypialni na prawdziwą Toskanię (winnice i gaje oliwne-zdjęcie dołączone do komentarza). Stare Certaldo w którym położony jest apartament ujął nas swoim sielskim klimatem i zabytkami na wyciągnięcie ręki (m.in. dom w którym mieszkał Boccacio-twórca Dekamerona). Właściciele bardzo pomocni, przyjaźni i kompetentni.

Glorious surroundings, absolutely fabulous welcome. Just amazing. The owner picked us up from the train station, his wife is lovely, a real character. She introduced us to the townsfolk and we couldn't have been made more welcome, in too many ways to say here. I am a single parent travelling with my teenage sons and they made us feel like we had found a second home - everywhere you look is beuaty and you are surrounded by warm, lovely people. Magnifico! The Palace is the most beautiful place I've ever been - really. Amazing. The funiculor is exquisite - obviously I can't praise this place highly enough.
