Casavecchia is enchanting with its typical Tuscan architecture, stone walls, large windows and French doors, wide terraces surrounding the house and an amazing green park with a private fenced lake.
A charming Tuscan villa offering 5 bedrooms and 5 baths located in a peaceful countryside.
A private swimming pool is located 20 meters from the house and equipped with deck-chairs, sun beds, umbrellas and anything you need for a relaxing vacation.
The villa is located in a lush property with a green garden all around it, and a private lake 300 meters distant from the house. The lake is fenced in and absolute safe, it can be used for swimming or fishing if you want or just to admire the beautiful landscape.
The lady who looks after the house lives on-site next door in an annex, totally unintrusive.
At guests' disposal: The villa has a private swimming pool (6x12 mts 1.50 mts depth ) where to spend moments of total relax or sport, if you prefer. The pool is equipped with umbrellas, sun beds and deckchairs. The outdoor area between the pool and the villa is equipped with tables and chairs for outdoor meals, and the 20 m long terrace next to the house offer a nice covered area where to stay during the day.

This cosy villa is really secluded and charming, offering much peace for a relaxing vacation. The villa is composed of two floors, an original architecture of a typical Tuscan countryside, with thick stone walls that keep a cool environment inside even in hot summers days.
The ground floor is composed of a large living area, with three different living rooms, two of them with open fireplace and a large and comfortable dining room with place for everyone to seat together.
The kitchen has been completely renovated autumn 2007 and offers now all modern comforts and a lot of space.
The kitchen has a direct access door to the garden and the covered terrace for outdoor eating. In the kitchen you will find a large 6 burner stove with oven and grill. There are 2 super sized refrigerators, one in the kitchen and the other in the attached storage room . You have a dishwasher, clothe washer, microwave, toaster and an American coffee maker. All silverware, plates, glasses, pans and pots to cook, are of excellent quality.
1 toilet.
On first floor there are 4 double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (with bathtub and shower) and 1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.

A very nice and bounteous place to stay. perfect for us as a whole fammily: grandma +grandpa, married childern an nearly adult grandchildern. Everything was quite restrained and clean. we enjoyed the pool very much. Brita was very nice and helpfull

we truly enjoyed our stay at the villa, ir really lived up to all the stunning pictures we had viewed. The setting is completely private, the grounds are amazing, and waking up to shirping birds is a wonderful experience. The villa IS very remote, up about 2 miles of gravel and dirt road, but the drive is worth it. The only things we found lacking are dishes, glassware, wine glasses, flatware and serving pieces in the kitchen. Additionally, the lighting is bad so we should probably have asked them to replace all the light bulbs that were out, how to work all the chandeliers and more lamps perhaps, also there are not screens on the windows in some bedrooms. Brita was very helpful and also though they charge extra for heat, it was worth it and not that expensive, less than 25 bucks a day! enjoy!!

Casavecchia has been a good solution for our holidays with friends. The house is in a very green and calm area of Tuscany, with excellent view over the hills and the woods. we especially appreciated the fact to be immersed into the nature and the wild. The rooms are nice and generally well kept, as the entire house. The spaces outside (garden, swimming pool, portico) are excellent and we lived most of the time outside. Even if hot outside, the house have always been cold and comfortable: no need of air conditioning also during the hot italian summer!
The person living beside the villa (Brita) is very helpful and discrete.
A couple of details could be improved so to make Casavecchia an excellent solution for holidays:
- the "zanzariere" (the nets in the windows to protect against mosquitos) are old and several of them are broken. This is extremely annoying because in the evenings it is full of insects
- the house has no wifi and very poor mobile coverage, therefore it is difficult to have a reasonable internet connection. I think that it would be possible to install a fixed telephone line with wifi capabilities

Very nice house, with very nice rooms and excellent swimming pool. Brita (who lives next door and looks after the house and guests) is very helpful. Could do with a few more glasses,crockery and some cooking dishes if catering for parties of 9-10.The house is 1 mile off the road on an unmade road which you have to drive carefully. Otherwise position is excellent for Arezzo, Florence, Siena etc. if you are prepared to drive a little way

This property was the perfect place for our family holiday. We were 10 people (+ one baby) and were absolutely delighted with the setting and character of the villa. The pool was a dream and the (very) secluded situation very agreeable. The unpaved road to the house was a bit rough on our cars, but with some care we did not experience any hick-ups. (For cars lying very low such as sport cars it would not be negotiable however.) Expect your vehicles to get properly dusty during the dry season. The lady taking care of the property (living in the annex) was very helpful. The only (minor) hick-ups were two broken mosquito nets on the windows to the bed rooms. Overall: We are definitely thinking of booking it again!

Lovely villa in a great location. A couple of things we didn't realise: there is actually currently no internet provision (wifi or otherwise) at the villa, which was problematic for our group particularly as a couple of us had to stay in touch with work. Also: the lady who looks after the house actually lives on-site next door in an annex, which was no issue and totally unintrusive but psychologically it's much nicer to think your group is seclueded and in a private place to relax alone. Otherwise, all great.
