Beautiful property nestling deep among green hills north of Florence, near the small town of Dicomano. This property comprises an ancient villa dating back to 16th century and its outbuildings, all of which have been recently restored an turned into 11 units offering simple and comfortable interiors. The location is very quiet and panoramic. The property is part of a 60-hectare farming estate with cattle breeding, olive groves and vineyards producing excellent olive oil and wines (available for clients to be taste and purchased).
The accesso to the proeprty is via an unpaved road of approx. 500 m.
Distances: Dicomano with all kinds of shops, tennis court and railway station with trains to Florence 2 km away, Vicchio di Mugello (native town of Giotto) 8 km, Lake Bilancino with nice equipped beaches 27 km, Florence 35 km away, San Gimignano 97 km, Siena 106 km away. Lucca and Pisa are within 110 km and the Versilia coastline area with beautiful beaches is 135 km away.
At guests’ disposal: large panoramic garden, swimming-pool (8 x 16 m – maximum depth 1,4 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09) with big solarium and shower (cold water), small bar (open during the months of July and August), table tennis and table football, shard barbecue, 3 mountain bikes. Shared laundry with washing machine and ironing facilities. Internet available at the reception of the property. All of the apartments provide mosquito nets (except for Rimaggio 3), telephone and internet access. WI-FI internet is available in the reception area.

Die Gastgeber sind wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit, geben gute Ratschläge und sprechen sehr gut Englisch. Das Anwesesen ist eben ein Bauernhof, sowohl Hausanlage als auch Poolanlage sind in die Jahre gekommen aber mit einer traumhaften Lage. Wer hohe Ansprüche an Sauberkeit hat sollte diese hier sehr herunterschrauben oder wie wir, eben selber sauber machen..!!! 30,00€ Endreinigung sind hier eher als Entschädigung an den Gast zu zahlen. Zudem sind nicht alle Küchengeräte wie in der Beschreibung angegeben, anzufinden. Die Matratzen sind für eine kaputte Bandscheibe ein Alptraum.

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questo agriturismo a cavallo di ferragosto, quando le temperature erano intorno ai 40°, frequentata da tante famiglie straniere. Beh, che dire, ho trovato lo stesso clima che troverei in casa dei miei familiari. L'accoglienza, la disponibilità e la solarità dei titolari sono un corollario non trascurabile ad un contesto già eccezionale, immerso nelle colline toscane. Appartamento/casa ben curato/pulito e piacevolmente rifinito, con vista diretta sulla piscina e sul paesaggio. La piscina è il pezzo forte di questo agriturismo insieme al calcetto balilla ed al tavolo da ping pong, con alcuni piacevoli intermezzi pomeridiani da parte dei titolari (vedi foto). Grazie ad un area svago così ben strutturata non abbiamo avuto nessuna necessità di muoverci, se non alla sera per apprezzare le varie sagre della zona (ve le consiglio ottimo cibo a prezzo modico).
In somma se volete rilassarvi ed assaporare prodotti nostrani a prezzi d'occasione...... questo è il posto che fa per voi.
grazie, i miei bimbi e noi ci siamo divertiti talmente tanto da prolungarne la permanenza. Spero di ritornarci presto.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] I had the pleasure of staying at this farm in the middle of August when the temperatures were around 40 °C, frequented by so many foreign families. Well, what can I say, I found the same climate I would find in my family's home. The welcome and the availability of the owners are a corollary not negligible to an already exceptional setting, immersed in the Tuscan hills. Well maintained / clean and nice apartment with direct view of the pool and landscape. The pool is the highlight of this farmhouse, along with table football and table tennis, with some nice afternoon treats organized by the owners (see photo). Thanks to a well-structured entertainment area we did not have to go out, except in the evenings to appreciate the various festivals in the area (I recommend those, great food at a modest price).
If you want to relax and enjoy our own produce at special prices ...... this is the place for you.

Easy Reserve hat uns sehr professionell, engagiert und zuvorkommend beraten und betreut. Abwicklung und Service waren hervorragend.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr stilvoll, liebevoll und landestypisch eingerichtet. Die Betreiberfamilie äußerst bemüht und freundlich. Das Verhältnis zu den Gästen war nicht nur gastfreundlich sondern fast schon familiär. Wir haben uns sehr wohl, entspannt und entschleunigt gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder !!

Heerlijke plek. In het echt veel mooier dan op de foto. Fijn zout water zwembad en vriendelijke eigenaren. Jammer dat er geen oven gebruikt kon worden. Wel BBQ plek waarbij zelfs hout of kolen inclusief is.

Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr schön und sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Umgebung ist ebenfalls lanschaftlich sehr schön. Die Räume sind großzügig gestaltet und funktionell mit einigen Akzenten durch historische Möbel, aber leider in Kombination mit billigen Einrichtungsgeständen wie zum Beispiel die Superplastik IKEA Nachtischleuchte, die zudem auf einer selbst gebauten Fußbank positioniert ist, der hier als Nachtisch dienen soll. In der Wohnküche herrscht ein Mix aus allen möglichen, zusammengesuchten Einrichtungsgegenständen und Küchenutensilien. Der Toaster ist ein wahre Herausforderung. Nur AN, AUS oder "Verbrannter Toast". Mit Draht in Heimarbeit die Kunststoffgriffe am Gitter festgemacht, welche mit dem Toastbrot dann von Hand in den Toaster gestackt werden soll. Im Bad sind beide Duschen (Führungsschienen) kaputt gewesen und provisorisch mit Tape geklebt. Eine Waschmaschine ist nicht vorhanden, obwohl in Zmmerbeschreibung erwähnt. Im Bereich des Waschmaschinenanschlusses wäre auch gar kein Platz für eine Waschmaschine gewesen. Dann wäre die Wohnküche schon voll. In der Wohnküche ist dann auch noch ein Bett für die, die zulatzt ins Bett gehen und zuerst wieder aufstehen, positioniert. Der Fernseher ist ein kleiner Monitor. Fernsehen auf dem eigenen Laptop ist besser. Programme in Deutsch gibt es nur eines. Aber wer den Koran auswendig lernen will, der hat von den insgesamt 500 einprogrammierten Sendern mit am Meisten.
Der Kühlschrank war die Krönung. Schimmelüberzug an allen Dichtungen. Ob das extra Geld für die Endreinigung wirklich auch dafür verwendet wird, ist zweifelhaft. Abschließend sei noch erwähnt, dass die Heizungsanlage defekt war und kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen oder Abwaschen verfügbar war. Duschen war nur in der Scheune möglich, wo auch warmes Wasser fürs Abwaschen geholt werden musste.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

Si l'itinéraire était bien expliqué, il manque un panneau indiquant l'accès à la Propriété, à la hauteur du chemin très pentu et bétonné, qu'il faut prendre à petite vitesse ! Malgré la limitation de vitesse à 60 km/h de cette route très fréquentée, personne ne la respecte. Nous avons alors pris l'habitude, chaque fois que nous venions de Vichio, d'aller jusqu'à Dicomano et de faire demi-tour pour revenir à la propriété. En ce qui concerne le Site, il est bien situé en hauteur et au calme. Mme.Paola Grazzini qui nous a reçu est très sympathique et toujours disponible; malheureusement, elle ne parle pas du tout le français et celà a perfois compliqué nos échanges. Le logement est très spacieux, mais je fais quelques réserves sur l'équipement de la cuisine (pas de tasses assez grandes pour le petit déjeuner- nous en avons acheté 2) ; difficulté pour rêgler le mélange eau froide/eau chaude, par suite de la présence de calcaire dans l'eau. La piscine à proximité des 3 bâtiments était très appréciée, en cette période de chaleur. Donc, dans l'ensemble, ce séjour nous laissera de bons souvenirs.

Dejligt sted med gå-afstand til Dicomani, der er en lille hyggelig by med station. Under 1 times køretur til Firenze og 20 min. til Borgo San Lorenzo, der er en større by med masser af hygge og charme. Alt i alt et godt sted til en fornuftig pris... :)

Great place, amusing view from all windows of a house. Very good location in a small village, very close to Florence. Only one downsied while you're coming in first days of May: cold nights you must buy additional "warming service" - thermostate. Nevertheless We spent there a realy nice week.

We used this as a base for visiting Italy, for this the location was great for day trips to Rome, Venice, Verona, Pisa and Florence. The small town Dicomano is also ideal for all your self catering needs. The pool area and views from the room are excellent and the owners are very helpful. The things that stopped me giving a excellent rating are lack of internet in the rooms and not much privacy, no private external space.

The views could not be better - a stunning series of mountains and ridges with farms in the lower foothills. We were delighted at all hours while sitting on our deck and looking over the panorama. The apt. was well furnished and appointed, obviously recently renovated. We would have liked screens in the windows or available mosquito netting to control the relatively few but persistent mosquitoes we were bothered by at night. Otherwise a complete delight.

Very nice apartment, well fitted out. Lovely views looking out across the valley and Dicomano. Good 16m swimming pool. Very relaxing surroundings. Train from Dicomano (5 mins by car, 25 min walk) will take you into Florence, about 50 mins, 3 euro each way pp.

We spent in Dicomano, Vigna la Corte-Rimaggio 3, one week in June 2011. The location is great, silent, in the middle of nature, outside Dicomano (very close).
We were a group of 5 adults and a child from Romania. The apartment was very confortable, clean and well furnished; the people very helpful and friendly.
It was easy to go to Florence by train (5 minutes to get to the railstation).
