Adjacent to the main residence is a separate home belonging to the owners, who visit occasionally, while the estate’s dedicated caretakers ensure seamless hospitality.
Designed to accommodate high-end gatherings, La Cenerara is the perfect setting for corporate retreats, executive seminars, and bespoke events. With its refined ambiance and adaptable spaces, this luxurious villa provides an exceptional backdrop for any occasion.

The garden is well landscaped and the expansive private pool (12 x 6 meters; minimum depth 0.8 meters; maximum depth 2.50 meters), surrounded by lush greenery, offers the ultimate retreat—whether you seek serene relaxation or exciting outdoor activities - all within our exclusive oasis.

Football lovers can play on a grass mini five a side pitch, while children can enjoy the large trampoline and ping-pong table.
At La Cenerara, animal lovers will be able to see up close: two donkeys, a mule, a horse and a Shetland pony.

The initial deposit required to confirm a reservation to be paid at the time of booking (unless there are special conditions in place) is 25% of the total rent amount.

The balance is due 60 days before arrival.

For last-minute bookings (within 60 days of arrival) the full amount must be paid at the time of the booking.

In case of cancellation of the booking, even if it is substituted by another one, the following penalties apply:
- the initial deposit (25% of total rent) if the cancellation is made between booking time up to 61 days before arrival date;
- 100% of total rental price if the cancellation is made from 60 days to arrival date or in case of no show.

Wonderful and sympathetic landlords! The house and environment is extremely nice, comfortable, clean and relaxing. Pool area like every little niche around the house.
Only point to mention for families with teenagers: very remote area, long distances to major cities or beaches.

Spacious rooms, well fitted and furnished. Beautiful rural views from the terrace and grounds. Lovely pool much appreciated in the Italian summer. Quite isolated as a trip to town is a one hour round trip, but a good local minimarket only 5 minutes away and friendly local restaurant, bar, pizzeria. Great hosts.

We were very pleased with our stay. The house was excellent for our two families and Michele and Isabella were so welcoming. We had a hard time understanding the process (maid service, cleaning fee, security deposit) at times, but otherwise we had a fantastic week. [Easy Reserve comment: For the benefit of people reading this comment - The security deposit and extra services paid locally works like this: When you check-in you pay the keyholder the amount required for the security deposit. When you checkout any charges for local services are deducted and the balance refunded. In some cases there may be additional money due if the services used were more than the deposit initially paid at check-in.]

Hidden away at the end of a dirt road in the foot hills of the province of Piacenza lies this absolutely beautiful house, which can only be described as a paradise. It sports a football field, pool, trampoline, grill, outdoor tables and lounges, peach, apple, and fig trees, and blackberries to be picked. The house itself is every much as beautiful as the pictures suggest, with comfortable beds, great showers, a full kitchen, and ample space for eating and lounging.

There are few weak points, the main 2 being the access road, which should be paved, and the bees (the neighbors make honey) which were a bit of a nuisance around the pool. Other than that, it is hard to find room for improvement.

Even the provinces of Piacenza and Parma were a welcome surprise for us: beautiful towns, delicious food, and truly polite people.

Highly recommended.

La Cenerara is a place of peace and tranquility. Excellent potion for touring the region. Beautiful gardens surround the house with lots of areas to sit, relax and soak up the atmosphere.

A very beautiful villa, immersed in spectacular countryside, with a lovely garden and a great swimming pool area. Very comfortable space, very tastefully decorated. Helpful staff.
Ideal for people who want to be 'away from it all' during their stay (e.g. you have wireless internet connection however mobile phone coverage is patchy at best; there are not many touristic attractions in the surrounding area).
Perhaps to be expected in a very large house in the middle of the countryside, the rooms had their fair share of spider webs and dead flies/insects around: I would recommend asking for extra cleaning if that is not of your liking. I would also recommend understanding prices before using certain services (e.g. use of the washing machine), as they may be higher than what you expect. However, overall this did not detract from the great pleasure of being at La Cenerara. Recommended.

La Cenerara was a slice of paradise and we completely relaxed during our 2 weeks. The whole house and the surrounding grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The caretaker was excellent and very responsive to our (few) needs. Look at it as more of a retreat destination for you may not want to leave much during your stay.
