From the swimming pool, located on a level just above the house, stunning views can be appreciated both during the day and at night. The location of La Rocca makes it an ideal base for guests who wish to combine a relaxing holiday in the Tuscan countryside with the possibility to enjoy day trips to the near cities of art, such as Florence, Siena and Pisa; nevertheless, the Versilian endless coast, with its night clubs and restaurants, is only half an hour away. For those who enjoy playing tennis, there is a court at only a 10 minute drive away from the property. The last part of the road leading to La Rocca is curvy and unpaved, not suitable for vans.

Villa La Rocca was a perfect vacation. We brought our teenage daughters and had several friends come and stay with us. We made dinners, drank wine and just hung out. The location is very central and the view is spectacular. Lucca is a lovely city, so don't forget to visit. The house was clean and met all of our needs, so we were very comfortable spending lots of time there.
