Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of Linera are nothing short of extraordinary, offering a rich tapestry of relaxation areas, dining spaces, and lush Mediterranean landscaping. The garden, enclosed by dry stone walls and accessible through an automatic entrance gate, is adorned with flowering plants, cacti, and typical Mediterranean trees that create a serene and fragrant atmosphere throughout the seasons. Large terracotta terraces extend between the two sections of the estate, connecting the main house to the various garden areas through manicured paths. A charming al fresco dining area, shaded by scented creepers, is directly accessible from both the kitchen and the adjacent dining room, making outdoor meals a seamless and pleasurable experience.

The swimming pool is a centrepiece of the outdoor area, situated on a gently sloping level of the garden approximately 50 metres from the back of the villa and easily reached via a few steps from the French windows on the ground floor. The irregularly shaped pool, lined in tiles, measures 12 by 7 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 2.50 metres, and features both a lateral ladder and Roman steps for easy water access. The pool is purified with chlorine and benefits from internal and external lighting, allowing it to be enjoyed after dark as well. It remains open all year round, and during the summer months it can be heated by solar panels, making it a non-heated pool by default outside of the summer season. Surrounding the pool is a generous solarium area of approximately 60 square metres, equipped with 10 sunbeds for sunbathing and relaxation.

Adjacent to the pool area are 2 pergolas: one furnished with comfortable sofas for leisurely relaxation, and the other arranged as an outdoor dining area. Serving this entire zone is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, complete with a refrigerator, sink, dishes, a dishwasher, and a mobile barbecue. A convenient changing room with a bathroom and shower is also available in this area. Please note that the property photographs were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you will find upon arrival.

Linera is a spacious and elegantly appointed villa capable of accommodating up to 10 guests across 5 beautifully furnished bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, spread over 2 distinct levels, each with direct access to the outdoor garden areas.

On the ground floor, the main entrance is reached from the garden via a few steps and opens into a striking three-level reception room featuring high ceilings with bleached beams, original Sicilian terracotta floors, and several cosy seating areas separated by gentle steps. This floor hosts a twin bedroom with joinable beds and an adjacent bathroom with a shower, as well as a double bedroom complete with a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, situated on a mezzanine level. A further double bedroom on this floor features an en-suite bathroom equipped with both a bathtub and a shower. The ground floor also includes a large lounge with a dining table, an additional breakfast room with a fireplace, and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with direct garden access. Accessible from the dining room are a dedicated laundry area and a spa area comprising a well-equipped gym, a sauna, a Turkish bath, and a bathroom with a shower.

On the lower level, 2 additional double bedrooms are available, both with direct access to the garden. 1 of these bedrooms features an en-suite bathroom, while the other is served by a private bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. A central staircase connects the 2 floors, ensuring easy movement throughout the villa.

For outdoor entertaining, a mobile barbecue is provided near the pool area, perfect for al fresco cooking and leisurely gatherings. Each bedroom also benefits from access to a private patio or direct garden access, seamlessly connecting the indoor living spaces with the surrounding Mediterranean landscape. Pets are welcome at the property, subject to prior authorisation by the owner, which must be requested in advance with details regarding the number, size, and breed of the animals.

Other Information

Acceptance of animals at the property must be previously authorised by the owner. Guests wishing to bring pets are required to communicate in advance the number of animals, their size, and their breed for approval. Animals must be of up to medium size to be considered for acceptance.

The property features a fully enclosed and secure garden, surrounded by two-metre-high dry stone walls and accessed through an automatic entrance gate. The covered parking area, located at the entrance of the property past the automatic gate, accommodates up to 3 vehicles along a private driveway of approximately 100 metres.

The spa facilities, including the gym, sauna, and Turkish bath, are available for guest use throughout the stay. The swimming pool is open all year round and may be used at night thanks to its internal and external lighting system.

The rental rate includes utilities such as electricity, water, and gas for kitchen use and hot water, as well as weekly linen service and initial and final cleaning. The rate also includes the Zer0Dep Guarantee, meaning guests are not required to pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival. This guarantee includes EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage to the property during the stay, up to a maximum of 1,500.00 euros and subject to the limitations provided.
