Once a modest ciabot, a small rural construction traditionally found among the vineyards, this property was historically known as "Little London" after an elderly London artist who retired here following the war to pursue his painting. Today, it has been lovingly transformed into a refined and welcoming villa that blends rustic character with modern comfort. The property enjoys a privileged panoramic position overlooking the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato territories, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014, where the iconic Barolo and Barbaresco wines are produced and where the Alpine arc, with its highest peaks clearly visible on the horizon, frames the landscape in breathtaking fashion. The villa is set within a fully fenced garden of approximately 1,200 square metres, lush with plants, flowers, laurel hedges, lavender bushes, herbs, fruit trees, and roses, creating a serene and private outdoor sanctuary. A generously sized swimming pool takes centre stage in the garden, positioned directly in front of the furnished veranda and complemented by sunbeds for relaxed sunbathing. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and ample parking is provided both in the gravel area near the main entrance and in the large garage below, which is accessible from Via Ballerina and equipped with an electric car charging point.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of Villa Tramonto Albese are among its most captivating features, offering guests a seamless connection between the natural landscape and the comforts of the villa. Upon entering through the main gate, a gravel parking area leads to the portico and the main entrance, beyond which the expansive lawn unfolds around the swimming pool. The pool measures 10 x 4 metres with a constant depth of 150 centimetres and is fitted with a resin cover. A cascading water jet, hydromassage jets, and an outdoor hot and cold-water shower invite guests to spend long, leisurely hours alternating between sunbathing and swimming. The pool's salt system ensures effective and natural water purification. The pool is non-heated and is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Sunbeds are arranged around the pool area, transforming it into a private solarium. On either side of the garden, laurel hedges, lavender bushes, aromatic herbs, fruit trees, and roses frame the space with colour and fragrance, surrounding a tool shed and leading to a stone walkway that descends to the lower, sloping section of the garden, where a small vine has been planted as a tribute to the surrounding territory. The 360-degree panorama visible from the garden is truly incomparable, and the colours of the sunset, which inspired the villa's very name, offer a breathtaking spectacle that changes with every season. Other Information

Villa Tramonto Albese welcomes guests travelling with pets, subject to prior authorisation from the owner. Before confirming the booking, guests must communicate the number of animals, as well as their size and breed, so that the owner can grant approval. A tourism tax of 1.50 euros per person per day applies for the first 21 days of the stay. Children under 10 years of age are exempt from this tax.
