We loved the villa and garden, it provided a great space for our family. It was very comfortable and well equipped, the outside sitting areas were lovely and especially enjoyed evening meals round the ‘lazy Susan’ table, great idea, the swimming pool was a great hit with the little ones and because it was a particularly hot week we all spent lots of time cooling off in it. We didn’t travel far apart from the gelato shop in Vinci and enjoyed a very good lunch at the nearby golf course where they were very welcoming with 4 small children and our dog. The villa was easy to find and had good access to the main road. Thanks to Jacopo and his father as well as Antonella who cooked a lovely meal for us one evening. We will always remember our week at Il Leccio.

Fabulous family holiday with plenty of space indoors and outside . Accommodation is very good although the best aspects of the property were the pool and sitting areas outside. Bruno the owner who lives further down the road was very helpful and let us pick fruit and vegetables from his garden.

This house is perfect for families or bigger groups, extremely comfortable and the owner and his father so nice and helpful. We saw every important city or area, the Fi-Pi-Li road is so close and you can get everywhere. App 15 minutes from rhe house you can find a mall where you can buy anything anc tgere is a huge Coop supermarket too.
Finally, we were in October but have to try in summer because we didnt use the pool and BBQ.. :)Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
Bonjour , Cette maison est très agréable avec une vue magnifique. La gare d'Empoli à quelques kms de la maison permet d'aller à Florence en 20 minutes ! La maison est spacieuse et relativement fraîche. Quelques détails pourraient être améliorés : pas de commodes dans plusieurs chambres uniquement grande armoire. Pas de meubles dans 2 salles de bains. Pas pratique !
Seul vrai bémol : les moustiques qui attaquent de jour (moustiques "tigres") comme de nuit. Nous n'avons pu aller acheter des produits et des ventilateurs que le lundi évidemment, les enfants ont donc été "dévorés" par les moustiques pendant presque 48 heures. En suite quelques piqures mais rien de plus. A part ça la maison et le terrain : piscine + tennis sont vraiment très agréables.

Empoli railway station is only a few miles from the holiday home and allows you to go to Florence in 20 minutes by train! The house is spacious and fairly fresh. Some details could be improved: no chests of drawers in many bedrooms but only a large wardrobe. No furniture in the bathrooms. It is not convenient!
The only real downside: the mosquitoes that attack during the day (mosquito "tigers") and in the night. We were unable to purchase products and fans before Monday, therefore children have been "devoured" by mosquitoes for almost 48 hours. Afterwards only a few bites, but nothing more. Apart from that the house and the outdoor areas (swimming pool + tennis) are really nice.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes
