Property Description
Conveniently located 6 km (4 mi) from Vicchio, Italy in the tourist area "Florence And Surroundings" and only 43 km (27 mi) from Florence. Villa San Lorenzo is a beautiful stone building (90 sq m) with private pool, WiFi internet and air conditioning. The property can sleep up to four guests comfortably in two bedrooms with one bathroom. There is a golf course nearby if you'd like to get in a round or two while on vacation.
Your Experience
Upon arrival you will be greeted by the owner or manager where you’ll find a nice clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a relaxing holiday in Tuscany. For your pleasure you will find a private pool where you can relax while enjoying a nice cold beverage after a busy day of visiting museums. Outside you will also find a patio and barbecue grill. Sharing a meal with friends and family is a huge part of the Tuscan culture. Take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals using local produce while on your holiday. The kitchen includes coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to four people. Dine 'al fresco' like a real Tuscan, the fully furnished patio is the perfect setting to enjoy food, family and the nice Tuscan weather.
In order to reach the property, you have to travel a dirt, partially paved road for approximately 300m.
IMPORTANT: One side of the property and a part of the garden adjoins the other property "la terrazza dei frati" (about 30 m. away) and they are divided simply by a laurel hedge. Both houses have a separate and independent entrance, outdoor pool and private spaces. There is the possibility of booking both houses together.

The property is lovely. The place was clean and the pool and view were great. My only complaints were there were many stink bugs in the house that we had to deal with. Also the kitchen is stocked with some supplies but items like olive oil, salt, pepper, aluminium foil, etc. would be helpful for a traveler.

Bellissima struttura immersa nel verde delle colline del mugello. Panorama incantevole. A mio parere la cucina e le sue dotazioni andrebbero rivedute. Il supporto onsite di Giovanna eccellente ; gentilissima e super disponibile. Suggerisco che il costo dei consumi dell'energia elettrica venga incluso nel prezzo dell'affitto a titolo forfetario e non conteggiato a fine permanenza.

We spent a relaxing and peaceful two weeks at the end of the season at San Lorenzo. Cristiano, so kindly came out late at night to check us into the villa when we got lost finding the correct access track from the main road, as the sign is there but very small: keep your eyes peeled ! The continuous pool recirculating pump runs continuously so consumes a lot of electricity. The villa is a model of old fashioned Tuscan living although there are dishwasher, washing machine, extravagantly luxurious shower, microwave and wifi repeater hidden carefully to satisfy modern living cravings. The thick walls and small windows keep out the cold and baking sun very effectively. The view down the hill to the distant hills from both the patio table and even from the master bed through the small picture window are spectacular and transfixing as the weather changes.

Nice location and garden with great swimming pool. The house is cosy but miss enough natural light in all rooms. Basic equipments should be provided (boiler, recent cooking material), and air conditioning when you rent at 2500 euros per week. Last point is the request to pay electricity which could be a good idea with air conditioning .... here, we are talking about 60 euros for a week for very basic electricity living in this house for 2 people only.
