While the Orcia Wine Festival almost always takes place on the last weekend of April each year, it has had its 2025 dates officially confirmed and will be held from the 25th to the 27th of April 2025 for its 14th edition – an excellent reason to find a vacation rental in the Orcia Valley today for an end of spring visit!
Over the course of the festival, events take place in the charming 18th century Palazzo Chigi in the centre of town, as well as in various other spots across the centre, and in wineries that are participating in the celebrations. There is usually a big Gala Dinner in addition to a diverse schedule of tastings, visits to wineries, master classes from experts on wines from the area, cooking lessons, and much more besides. Certainly, it is the best way to get to know the wine of the impossibly beautiful Orcia Valley.
