If you are someone who likes to be able to off-set their carbon footprint by renting an electric car during a vacation in Italy, then it’s important to know that you have somewhere convenient to charge your car. Fear not, increasingly, we have a number of villas in Italy with charging stations for an electric vehicle on the property.
There is also now a filter in our search box on our website to help you narrow down your searches with this feature in mind. All you need to do is input your desired dates and destination and number of travellers upon arriving at the Italy Villas home page and hit search. Then, on the top of the listed results page that follows, click the More Filters drop-down option and click the box for EV Charging Station under the Property Amenities options. You will then be given an updated list of property options according to your initial search that also have charging stations.
So, for example, if you were looking for a villa in Tuscany with an electric car charging station (without any other search perimeters), you would find that there are 54 different properties with charging stations or if you searched holiday rentals in Florence and the surrounding area with an electric car charging station (again, without any other search perimeters), then you would have five options to choose from. In total, we currently have 178 different vacation rentals in Italy with electric car charging stations but this number continues to grow all the time.
While the electric vehicle option may not work if you plan on doing lots of long journeys over a limited period throughout your holiday, it is certainly a viable alternative for those who are looking to go with a more environmentally-friendly option for local excursions throughout a stay in one of our amazing villas in Italy. So, for a more sustainable getaway in Italy, this is a great option to consider!
