The Sentiero dei Limoni is the old path connecting Maiori to Minori and was, until very recently, one of the most trafficked trails of the Amalfi Coast, partially because of the traditional cultivation of lemons, which has been an integral and ongoing business in the area since Ancient Roman times. Even now, as you pass along the trail, you will likely see workers cultivating, transporting, or selling lemons and their by-products to this day. Come between Spring and Summer for the harvest season and experience the history and importance of this local tradition, which has been so key to the local economy for centuries upon centuries now.
